Cyberpunk Soundtrack

Never heard of this band before; reminded me a bit of Devo.

Not suprising, very Aussie centric satire with level of cynicism that would cut through 100lbs of bullshit @ 50 paces. Takes a certain kind of whacker. Still thier audience was big enough to keep them performing for a little over 20 years. And yes hard not to think of Devo.

Trifonic - Baalbek (Hecq Remix)

Cristian Vogel - Enter The Tub

Shackleton - Death Is Not Final (T++ Remix)

Sorry, put some PUNK in the music! I thought Cyberpunk 2077 is for mature people?
I don't want to be offensive, but what I have seen here so far is mostly second class -imho. I would use at least partially music from the time Cyberpunk was created.

Alien Sex Fiend - I walk the line

Young Gods - Envoye

Lords of Acid - The Crablouse

Skinny Puppy - Assimilate

Ministry - New World Order

Sielwolf - Magnum Force

Einstürzende Neubauten - Fütter Mein Ego

Veto - Nemesis babe (this is pretty new)

Know the roots ... It's CyberPUNK, not Techno or Trance kids :)

Here you find Mr. Pondsmith opinion (http://obskures.de/2013/cyberpunk-2077-an-interview-with-mike-pondsmith/)
obskures.de: Please add the most important inspirations to get the player(s) in the “right mood”.
Mike Pondsmith Mike Pondsmith: Go downtown at midnight and stand outside in the cold rain. Wait to get mugged. Beat down the mugger instead. Or barring that, watch Blade Runner, followed by Max Headroom, followed by Ghost in the Shell, drink a couple shots of cheap whiskey and end up the night listening to some really good trance, electronica or dubstep. While making love to your heavily tattooed girlfriend.

Save yourself, Cyberpunk! :)

He's close with the feel, but it's too 80's, too conventional. Listen to Adam Scorupa's work for CDPR and FWH. There's a pro.

I dunno. As I said somewhere else, I think this recut is very good. The edgy 80s tech music is pretty much right on. If I had a complaint, it would be that the last ten or twenty seconds is a little weak.

The pick-up is really well timed and the music gets me wanting to move, which suits the bullets flying past very nicely.

CDPR is CD Projeckt Red, I think. SLIM! YOUR ACRONYMS HAVE CONFUSEDED US.

I'd agree that it's a bit much 80's, but I think there should definitely at least some of that influence on the sooundtrack overall. For specific instances in the game though, something Pertubator-esque or Neo-retro I would really welcome. Cyberpunk, both as a genre and as the RPG, is an 80's creation after all and it would be a great shame if that angle weren't worked into the sound somehow.

EDIT: Also, there is already a thread for this -- "Cyberpunk Soundtrack", either this page or one back.

Here's one for you, oh my Droogies. One of the local folks here in Los Angeles; project called W.A.S.T.E. (We All Seek Total Entropy):
