Cyberpunk Soundtrack

Totally.

I generally think that fresh take on '80 electronical music is appropriate approach to CP2077 soundtrack. You know bands like Perturbator, Power Glove, M.O.O.N, Com Truise, Lazerhawk etc.

i am sure that there will songs of those artists, it just fits perfect

No 'Godflesh' or 'Streetcleaner' but they still got it:

Godflesh - Ringer

Godflesh - Dogbite

Godflesh - Playing with Fire

Godflesh - Decline & Fall

I'd simply like the soundtrack to be varied, not just electronic, and please no "Americanized" dubstep. Some particular scenes/places could have music that stands out, like a man on the street playing some jazz for example.

There's good stuff here. I approve Fear Factory, Perturbator, Kavinsky, Billy Idol, KMFDM, Ministry, Mind.In.A.Box., etc. I also liked the song in the teaser (Bullets) very much. I don't fee like checking all those pages so I'll just put my two cents, album Whoracle by In Flames.

Whoracle is a concept album which describes the past, present, and a hypothetical future of the planet Earth. "Jotun" is a foreshadowing of the main concepts where a society is crushed and broken after an apocalyptic event. "Episode 666" seems to be the narration of this apocalyptic event which is, perversely, televised. The songs leading up to this tell a story of the rise and fall of a global society. "The Hive" and "Jester Script Transfigured" describe this technologically advanced society and an utopian world which is demolished by human nature in the next two songs. The inclusion of the Depeche Mode cover, "Everything Counts", is a poignant way to imply that the people who built then destroyed their society realized their folly after it was too late.

Also, some Anthrax titles like Belly of the Beast for instance.

The soundtracks from Ghost in the Shell stuff are nice. Here's the opening to the GitS Stand Alone Complex series.

Greetings!

I'm into DnB, Metal, Punk & old school electronic for the most part, but give these a chance... they surprised me:

Slipknot - Duality (Belzebass Remix)

Belzebass - The Age Of Hell

Other tracks by the band are pretty progressive as well..

Pretty cool, they would really fit in action scenes.

Anyone here ever played the game Receiver?
A cyber-ish FPS made in 7 days for a contest, the music for it is pretty cool and cyber-ish you should check it out.

I really think a track like this would fit in the slower paced but intense moments in the game like stealth missions.

First, from when rap wasn't a bunch of autotuned posers:

Capone N Noreaga - B EZ
The Fugees - Ready Or Not

Then something distorted and harsh and synthy, but musical:

Polica - Violent Games

Then something between the two styles:

Pretty Lights - Hot Like Sauce

And finally, because it'd be hilarious-slash-epic:

This battle theme from Shadowrun Returns had me absolutely pumped up and feeling like a badass. It's a homage to various tracks from the SNES version, it has a little of the battle music from there but most of it is taken from a track that wasn't a battle theme at all.

for a more facetious track for CP2077

Kirsten Dunst - Turning Japanese

for something a bit more serious

Wang Chung To live and die in L.A (there were no good people in this film)

and for our netrunner/decker types (Silicon Jesus by Psychosonik)

FKA twigs - Papi Pacify
