Cyberware doesn't work anymore after Yaiba Motorcycle mission!

Help

After connecting to the robot - doesn't matter if from a terminal or driving directly to Kiroshi - some of my cyberware doesn't work anymore. In particular my Camo when fast-sneaking. It's supposed to switch on but doesn't do it anymore. Help!

0.) Are you using mods, or have you ever used any in the past?

1.) What platform are you on?

2.) Is the problem re-createable, or does it seem to come and go randomly?

0.) Hm. Still possible. If I'm understanding correctly, you did install mods for other playthroughs, but not for this one. Generally if the mods were installed for a new game, and then you loaded an older game, that game is also now modded, as it would have adopted whatever library was active when it launched. Need more specifics about what was loaded, reinstalled, etc. and when to rule that out.

1.) Check.

2.) Do you have an older save to restore back to? Also, do you remember what version of the game this character began under? It's possible, in certain situations, for games that were begun under prior versions then updated during a playthrough (especially if updated numerous times) to get into unique situations that can result in weird bugs. Reloading to a point before the problematic mission appears in the quest log and playing through again might prevent the issue from cropping up.

_______________

The primary concern will be ruling out any sort of mod conflict, though. Possibilities:

1.) I began a playthrough. I played that character for a certain amount of time. I began a new playthrough with a new character. I installed mods. After a while, I reloaded my older character to continue that playthrough. <-- That older playthrough is now modded.

2.) I began a playthrough and played for a while. I later began a new character and modded the game. I uninstalled the mods, and reloaded the older character, and at some point I saved over a save slot from the newer character's playthrough. <-- That older playthrough may have inherited reference data from mods, and will hence show as modded.

3.) I began a playthrough and played for a while. I began a new playthrough with a new character, and I did use mods with that one. I later deleted those save files, deleted all mods, performed a CLEAN installation of the game, and reloaded my older saved game. <-- That older playthrough should remain vanilla, as there's no chance that modded reference data could be in the save file.

lets skip 1-3 - it*s the original 2020 first save - i am m going to test the mission + disabling all cyberware-> save re-enabling cyberware
1 is unlikeliy, it was that performance-tweak mod and dateing Panam as female V

Any time mods are used, there's all sorts of weirdness that can develop -- especially if the saved game is that old and has been through that many updates on top of mods, no matter how unrelated they may appear.

Any possibility of starting a new game in a new slot and speeding through to see if it occurs in 100% vanilla? This would also require a clean installation after removing mods, so it may just not be worth it.
