Dagon High units is very strong

Dagon High units is very strong

Free aeromancy + deck thinning high strength unit spawn. Very versatile.

I dont have neither avallach and caretaker, yet 10 matches, 7 wins so far. Very strong against skellige (just one defeat).

May become one of the strongest builds on the meta.

Yeah, I think making skies clear fits more to Aeromancy which is literally weather (I mean come on, that scary monster is going to make sunny weather?!?!), but since Aeromancy would be better than Dagon then (lol), they should either change Dagon's ability or boost the other 2 monster leaders, because now Dagon is better than Ge'els (Ge'els = Igni's friend) or Eredin (good for monster eating decks though). Now even if you don't run weather, occasional Rally is usually more useful than other leaders. :v

Exactly. He is better than Eredin even for that archetype IMO.

Could you post your list? I'm trying to make my old Graveyard + Weather Control but Scoia has too many First Lights.

I have around 1000 scraps to spend in Avallac'h, Decoy or something else and your deck sounds interesting

Sorry, but my deck right now miss a lot of key card like caretaker and such. I'm also fine tuning it, experimenting a lot so i dont really have a decklist to offer right now :/

No worries, I'll post it if I come up with something at least decent. I guess simple Weather Control is not enough anymore, so let's be creative ;)

Trying this build right now, I think I will add Decoy as soon as I have the scraps to craft it. It's looking good, I'll post results as soon as I can, but I really miss the Griffins sometimes.

Is this the approach you are taking or are you thinking in something more like a Big Monsters with Dagon as a backup?

i'm going more for big monsters. But i gonna test wild hunters riders now, see what they deck thinning can do for me, i think i'm in need of it.

I have had some matches today, the deck is not working as intended. It really needs more ways to get card advantage.

Idk if this'll be of any help to anyone but i can post my Graveyard Consuming deck if you need some ideeas...it works very well especially against Skellige and NR because it denies some key ressurects, only thing that puts some problems are Weather decks (but not big problems) and Squirlles (again not all of them).

I run a similar deck but more versatile than just a Graveyard killer. It is problematic vs Weather decks but Scoia is a pretty much a coin toss. Card draw (for both sides) is a key here, imo.

I'm using ocvist. Against non control decks, like skellige, he is nasty.

Does he survive often?

Against non control, yes. Tell me how a skellige deck without removals will deal with him? Warships arent reliable.

That's their biggest weakness... I mean Skellige without removals
