Dandelion's age

This has really been bothering me for a while. We know that the good for nothing bard has been Geralt's closest friend even before the first book, which means that he knew Geralt for some 25 years during the events from the games. So let's say that he graduated from Oxenfurt when he was in his mid twenties, even before meeting Geralt, which would make him at least 50 by now. Not only does he not look that old (and we know he is not a half elf), but he is also ploughing away at full speed. On the other hand, my memory has turned to shite due to the effects of passing the exams and the celebrating that followed, so I may be wrong. So, how old is he?

At the time of "The Tower of the Swallow" he is still 'not yet forty'.
He has however started on his memoirs "fifty years of poetry" as he imagines himself at 70 with the necessary 50 years of experience to be sitting and farting, and not to be taken seriously, so he is writing now, while it is fresh and will edit later.
He is also not very poetic ~ needing input from Regis for the better "Half a Century of Poetry".

So does that mean he's in his early forties at the time of the games?

"Dandelion, you thick-headed halfwit. You unmitigated dunce. Do you have to spoil everything you touch? Couldn't you, just once in your life, do something right? I know you can't think for yourself. I know you're almost forty, look almost thirty, think you're just over twenty and act as though you're barely ten."

I'm wondering how Dijkstra managed to rehabilitate himself?

With Philippa falling out of grace (to but it lightly) the threat to his life is all but nullifed. He's one of the biggest patriots Redania has so Radovid would be a fool not to take him back now when Nilfgaard is banging on his doors.

I'm surprised Dijkstra is not mad with Geralt anymore about his leg

Judging by what we see in the demo it is apparent that it's not the first time the two met since Dijkstra's return.I imagine the first time we meet him he'll have enough to say when it comes to reminiscing about past events (broken legs included).

Didn't they say something like Dijkstra being a sort of underworld boss right now? If he was back in the graces of royalty I'd assume he'd have a proper office instead of a whorehouse.

"We're on our way to meet Dijkstra. He's the former head of redanian intelligence, now a spy and a very powerful mobster"-35 min demo

Someone else is calling the shots now.I'm not surprised TBH.The fact that he still has his head is enough good grace IMO.

Well that's what I meant... last we saw him he was - quite reasonably - rapidly scuttling WSW beyond "the edge of the world"... in bad company. Now he is back in Novigrad still entire and complete.... that is an achievement.

So basically, he's now almost 40 + 5 years old. There you go.

I wondered that too, because according Witcher 3 gog.com Pre-Purchase Geralt met Yennefer 25 years ago, when Geralt was saving Dandelion ( by that time they knew each other for quite while.).
