Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red Launch ‘Witcher’ Collectibles

As for EU distribution this is handled by DH but we are connecting them with retail and partners that might be interested and also they have their own contacts as well. Cannot confirm anything yet but EU is definitely important in terms of availability.

Thanks for your answer; I'm really looking forward to the preorders !

Ther will be adjustment for Yen and Ciri for sure - we are focusing on the faces. Triss is almost done as is Geralt and Eredin.

Also to the question about more characters - it is possible but will be determined by the sales of the first 5.

This is great to hear! It's good to know that what we've seen aren't the final versions. I will be sure to support this line!

As for ideas for other characters and what not, maybe you could do alternate versions of Geralt in some other gear such as the mastercrafted sets!

What about Eredin's height? He should be way taller than Geralt, but they seem to be the same size.

Hope to see another four of Aen Elle in future. :D

And of course, if they're planned to sell in EU, hope that in Poland too, you have my money :p

@Rafal_Jaki Could you just tell us the exact size of the statues? Geralt is a no brainer for me, but the others depends on how tall are the statues. You know, I have big issue with free space :D. It is looks like that the statues are beween 15 to 30cm tall. That would be my guess.

Prepared a shelf for the first 5 figures aleady :D ... & I have still room for more :D...

Well i hope we here in EU will be able to buy them for a fair price and not some ridiculous amount as with most stuff shipped from other site of the world.

Yep, definitely looking forward to this as this seems a great price.... provided it isn't going to cost an arm and a leg for shipping. I'm in Canada and would really prefer not to pay in USD nor ship from the US. Pretty much that's the dealbreaker for me. I bought the CE (which was fortunately available in Canada).

I cannot WAIT to get these!! The ones from Dark Horse look stunning and seem to be reasonably priced. I hope they set up some form of shipping from Europe as well, shipping from the US is expensive and takes ages.. Seeing as CDPR is a Polish company, I hope they can convince Dark Horse to ship from some place in Europe as well.

I am SO getting Yennefer, Ciri and Geralt... And any form of necklace or whatever jewelry they plan to do..
I would kill to get a Roach figure as well! <3

ARGH can't wait, September is sooo far away! Hopefully Blood and Wine can keep us occupied for some of the waiting :)

Dark Horse Deluxe and CD Projekt Red are teaming up to produce a high-end product line based on The Witcher set to be released this fall.

The product line will include everything from statues, busts, action figures, prop and jewelry replicas, barware, stationery, and other collectibles. The line will debut with a set of stunning figures.

Those figures include Geralt, Triss, Yennefer, Ciri, the Wild Hunt King, and Eredin. Each of the figures will be designed to the character’s likeness, custom painted, and displayed in deluxe window box packaging. They will retail at $29.99.

“We are truly excited to bring the Witcher 3 characters to life! Wild Hunt fans requested figures of Geralt, Ciri, Yen, and other collectibles multiple times, and now, thanks to this cooperation, we’re finally able to fulfill these requests without putting an arm and a leg on the price tag. I truly hope Witcher fans notice all the love and the excellent craftsmanship put into creating them!” said Rafał Jaki, business development manager for CD Projekt RED.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the 2015 critically acclaimed video game from CD Projekt Red based on the fantasy novel series by Andrezej Sapkowski. Dark Horse has published multiple Witcher tie-ins including two comic series turned graphic novels, The Witcher: House of Glass and The Witcher: Fox Children. They have also produced an art book, The World of The Witcher.
“Although Dark Horse has been bringing Witcher forward as graphic novels and art books for a couple of years, we have only begun exploring Geralt of Rivia’s world. And there is quite a world to explore! We are developing a variety of collectible products, in conjunction with the team at CD Projekt RED, with the initial launch of figures as the portal,” noted Dark Horse’s VP of Product Development, David Scroggy. “We are planning a colorful and untamed range of high-quality enhancements to one of the most beautiful and original games we have seen. We hope this journey is a long one, and that fans will join us for the ride.”

Yay that's amazing news.

OMG I want that!!! So badly. I just wrote a reply on another thread that i want figures exactly like the one in this picture.

Figures are already available to preorder on some retailers, despite the fact that there is no official announcement; any informations about that ?

So the "standard grade" is poorly packed in a damaged box? Strange policy... ;)

I wonder if these statues will have inconsistent paint work. I remember when NECA released an Elizabeth figure from Bioshock Infinite a couple of years ago, because they were hand-painted, some of them had issues like the eyes being off-center or crossed. Maybe the "collector's grade" also ensures that the seller will pick a statue which is free from a similar defect.

Then again, it might just be a marketing ploy to get you to shell out more money.
