You and are I kinda going through the same personal gaming renaissance with our new computers, huh? I started DS1 in recent months.Oh me oh my the gloom, the GLOOOOM!
/JK. I'm happy it's coming to PC. I'll be checking it out. Some time this year I'll get around to finishing the first one.
I'm actually having a perfectly fine time with M&K after downloading all those stuff I can't remember anymore. Though maybe having a 5-button mouse helps, since I don't need to stretch my left hand like a spider in order to do all the necessary actions. I have "Block" and "Parry" right there at my right hand, so everything's comfortable.I would recommend everyone to play it with a controller, the game is completely tailored around it.
Also you can skip DS2 it's a step down in pretty much every way.
Are you finished with your playthru? I recommend just getting a guide for the story itself, ain't nobody got time to read all those item descriptions.Considering how disconnected I am from the story, I don't think spoilers will bother me at all.
There is advancement, but somehow people expect a complete redesign of the entire game? I personally liked DS2 more then DS1, but that had a hell lot more to do with far better PC controls a better PC version.that looks awful. no advancement or innovation from the past games. what is this the fifa strategy?
Souls Series are some of my favourite games of all time, but he definetely has a point. We have 4!!! games in 3!!! different franchises/IPs(Demon Souls/Dark Souls/Bloodborne), where the games are basically identical with not much more than Assasin's Creed variations. I'm glad Myazaki is at the helm again, should make for a great game. Tell you what though, I'll be happy to talk about lack of innovation when any other RPG has a tenth of Dark Souls customization, gameplay variety, level variety, enemy/boss variety and awesome combat mechanics. Until that happens then it seems moot.
Except...they are trying new things. It's called weapon arts. Look it up. There's also rumors of a new bonfire/sacrifice system too.that looks awful. no advancement or innovation from the past games. what is this the fifa strategy?
