Dear CDPR devs, list of suggestions

+
-Add in the Legendary Crafting Spec for the Overture; even though, in both my playthroughs thus far, I've never gone above 10 Reflex, the Overture is still the weapon I use the most because I love how it looks and feels. Given it's literally the weapon on the game's box, it is shocking there is no Legendary Crafting Spec for it.
No legendary crafting spec for Overture, it's true. But there is two iconic Overture (CRASH and Archangel) which can be upgraded in legendary if players are able to craft them and a legendary Overture available without any level restriction at Arroyo weapon shop :)
(But I agree, the "best" would be to have crafting specs for each weapons in the game in each rarity... And the same for clothes^^)
-Restore the "Green Stars" to the minimap; I love doing all the activities Night City has to offer and finding these impromptu fights is great, but they can be easily missed (especially if you don't use headphones, like myself due to aural sensitivity).
I believe it was changed because at first, these events were intended to be "random" encounters, which weren't really "random" because you were able to see them on the map (so maybe CDPR will make a step back in the next update, but honestly, not sure...)

How do you figure? You asked them?
simple.

because they talked about everything you listed even before the game was released?

- apartments? have been promoted way, way back in the days.
- more dialogs? have been already datamined way before they were released.
- more interactions? - its more the opposite they took interactions, instead of bringen new ones.
- re-customizing? its the ONLY logical way to go in a game around CYBERWARE. (and was surely intended in the early concept phase)
- more vehicles, more clothes, more weapons? standard add-ons. one of the few ways to ad "new" content without breaking anything else.

no-one can really think these "add-ons" are "ideas" of the playerbase and a gift from CDPR to please them...

If you say so...
Yeah, for sure... The whole "difficulty/gameplay" rebalancing was not ready at release. So, CDPR delayed it for 1.5

Announced in 2019 if I'm right that V wouldn't be able to buy apartments... So yeah, it wasn't ready at release since they give up this idea 2 years before...

So probably they bring it back because players really wanted more apartments...

Some suggestions:

. Please delay some dialogues timings, either by adding seconds of silence in the beginning of audio file or delaying the trigger to start it or even after some quests; situations like:
. When reading a computer message that will trigger dialogue by V or Johnny. A lot of games do this and I wish none did. The player hasn't read the message yet so we need to pay attention to the comment so we can extract its meaning after, when we do read the message. This one should trigger after exiting the computer or change message.
. After an action moment, as soon as the last body hits the floor V or their companion start speaking immediately taking importance away from what just happened. Let us take a breather. This one might be easier to add seconds of silence before. In Cyberpunk I think this would be easy to do because of their lip synching technology. Other games have their lip synch programmed along with the rest of the character's movement but CP would allow characters to move around and only react to the audio when it comes up (have you made some phone calls on a bike looking at V's face? His lips move on some sentences. Actually don't know why not always. Fixing this can enter the suggestion aswell). :)
. Fixer's introduction call. As soon as V first steps into a new Fixer's territory they will feel V. This call should be triggered either by a street cred level (but please not when that fixer's missions start being normal difficulty; it would have to be way before) . Or after V deals with a number of NCPD cases in their territory or a combination of both (if V has a lot of street cred coming in to chapter 2 the call could even happen in chapter one. We all know we can't leave Watson yet) . Personally I prefer the street cred option because some players might not want to do any NCPD missions/doesn't really connect fixers-police outsourcing. Mr. Hands example ends up being the most annoying. Hey need to find someone to connect to the Voodoo Boys. Visit Pacifica. Got it. In this case I think it should be tied to activities in the district. Like who's this punk coming here and disrupting lots of shady deals (Pacific's bread and butter)?

The player should be obligated to find the fixers by himself (to negotiate for gigs), and then restrict the gigs by localised streetcred and possibly the fixers affiliation with the local gang (e.g. Wakako is affiliated with the Tygers... if you've killed a lot of them, make ammence via monetary compensation or a couple of missions to gain access to Wakako's good graces).

Also, taking part in the police instances should count for something in the long run. I don't know if 1.5 has added something to that end, but I haven't seen anything.
---------------------------
More over...

Add autopilot to the cars via jacking in and the waypoint element (toggleable) from the minimap to the windshields of at least the more expensive vehicles. And of course.... the driving skill... yadda yadda... explained that way too many times.

I would still change the smart guns to operate via temporary target lock and to-hit-chances for different bodyparts - tie it with the sandevistan or smartlink slo-mo when the player takes aim and chooses the desired - or easiest to hit - bodypart to shoot at (in this game it's always head or torso, because there's no point in targeting limbs).

And the City really needs more interactivity beyond soda dispensers. And not just "because", I don't mean barbers and tattoo parlors. I mean... You are basically a single person crime syndicate murder machine in the game, but you can't pick any pockets or steal anything... How about making something out of the bots in the streets and clubs. Rob 'em at gunpoint, seduce them for an awkward first person fuckflick, pick their pockets.... what ever.

Braindance is way underused. Lots of gameplaypotential there.

Also, why are all the car trunks empty? Was there a point in adding them when there's never anything there, nor can you store anything in them?

Nah, anyways.....

I agree with a much more complex fixer-V relationship but was trying to give suggestions that are more plausible to happen on this iteration of CP and not the sequel.
About Wakako being affiliated with the Tygers, I'd say that's an over simplification or just false.
I am aware she has a phone call with Rogue talking about her boys. But she also sends V to go on missions opposing Tyger Klaus opposition. She mentions all her past husbands were Tyger Claws bosses. I think that's her affiliation, with some groups within the Tyger Claws. I think we sometimes forget Night City is a huge place with lots of people. Someone once mentioned the fixers in the game were the only existing fixers in NC, one per district, when in fact those are the most prominent and the ones that secure the most high level gigs and clients. I'm sure in the lore there's a hierarchy and fixers for low time jobs, etc.

Will not be far away from the truth to look on a game improvement as an upgrade of software / programs which everybody use at work PCs / phones.

At first - a feedback collects based on different sources of info about missed functionality / bugs (at least, in healtly companies).

As second - an internal developer team #1 asesses which improvements from the whole list will be more valuabale right now and creates a short list.

At third - an internal lead team #2 predicts from past experience how much time / resources are needed to complete it. Usually a lot of small fixes or few big improvements, depends from skills / capacity / etc.

At forth - an internal roadmap creates with specific timeframes / dates / deadlines based on above.

After that a circle repeats once per week / month / quarter to check where teams stand for right now.

Same process more or less works for game updates.

So in total - if somebody from us put here highly demanded, and ideally, not a time concuming feature for dev team, it has not zero chances to be in the game.

For this current case - I'm thinking CDPR has hundreds of suggestions already and an internal roadmap had been ready a year ago for the next five years at least :)

Some suggestions

1. Make the player need to eat and shower! (Don't eat your stamina decreases and so does your max health. Don't shower and it's harder to romance characters and Joytoys will charge you way more and Fixers wont offer as many Gigs. Don't use the toilet and you can't eat and the screen will slowly add a colored haze)

2. An option in the games menu to remove the green Matrix like filter for those that don't like it.

(FREE BONUS OR AFTER COMPLETION OF THE GAME)

3
. The ability to have an intimate encounter with a few other characters. (Misty, Claire, Viktor, Sandra, Hanoka, Goro, Meredith* I know but it was lacking)
Bringing them back for added dialog would costs $$$ so it doesnt need to be a long elaborate process Judy or Pam, more like a fun fling.

4. A new custom radio station where we can import our own files MP3, Flac, exc)

A more detailed character creator!

5
. A voice/pitch modulator so all V's don't sound exactly alike.
Height
Build type (Fit, Skinny, Fat, Obese, Muscular, exc)
Butt size
More Breast size options

6. Make some of the in game assets playable like Pool and Darts. Jukeboxes can be usable as well with the in game radio or a custom station.

Dear
:cyberbird:
CDPR Devs, I have compiled a list of suggestions and requests for features that I would love to see added into Cyberpunk 2077.

-Please give us Witcher 3-style roadmaps for DLC and future content. It doesn't even need to cover every piece of DLC, just 1 sentence blurbs and a couple of images. View attachment 11309140

-Please add a few more Attribute points in Cyberpunk our characters can find, like how places of power work in Witcher 3. Especially if you aren't going to give us a way to reset attributes in the future or increase the level cap, this way people can have a few extra attributes to improve bad builds or attributes they wish they spent somewhere else

-Please add more Legendary Cyberware like Legendary Kiroshi optics and Legendary Reinforced Tendons (with triple-jump!)

-Please add Cyberware that can increase attributes (intelligence/reflex/cool/tech) the same way Gorilla Arms can increase Body.

-Please add Newgame+ with enemy scaling up to level 50. There are so many great missions that are really well designed but are still trivialized by how powerful & overpowered you can become early in the game. Let us re-visit this content in NG+ with level scaling to have a more challenging experience!

-Please add a higher difficulty. Based on Witcher 2's "Dark Mode" I would love to see Cyberpunk get a higher difficulty setting called "Dark Future" mode.

-Please add more weapon variety. Tech weapons have so few options, like only 1 tech shotgun in the entire game. There are so few heavy and light machine gun options. Please add more options and variety for the very underutilized types of weapons in game!

-Please add armor/clothing transmogrification so we can choose to dress how we want!

-Please add more Fixer Gigs for Rogue Amendiares. She is one of the best characters in-game and we get very little interaction with her outside of the main story!

-Please add more Mox gang content and missions with Susie Q, another cool character who we barely get to interact with.

-Please add more Militech corpo content and missions with Meredith Stout. Another great and underutilized character and Corpo in Night City.

-Please add more content and missions with MaxTac and Trauma Team.

-Please add more content to the oil fields, there is so much empty and unused space in that part of the map!

-Please make more of the items you can find and equip in the different endings stay on your character after you finish the endings. Example of this is the Prejudice assault rifle.

Agreeing with a lot from your list, esp NG+, Rogue/Mox/Militech content, and level scaling.
I was thinking of a couple of ideas before checking out the forum to add to your list. It's probably been suggested in a way or another especially regarding vehicles but here goes:

- Add Dealerships and Garages.
Dealerships would specialise in selling one, maybe two brands of vehicles spread out the map in areas where these brands make sense to be sold. Garages would be there to tinker with any brands but not sell (could be one in Adelcados camp, one in the city, that's it). Attach story missions to dealership, e.g. to buy vehicles, you need to be a member and become one through doing a favour to the local dealer.

Have a garage attached to each delaership that allow paint jobs (unlocked after a second story mission) and finally illegal customisation (unlocked after third story mission). Tie it up to lifepaths: e.g. Corpo can sweet talk their way to membership and get price discounts / Street kids have unique skins in the paint jobs sections attached to gangs / Nomads have access to unique or more advanced custom pieces to tinker with the vehicle.

I don't know how complex it would be with the Red Engine to implement, but obvious perks are: you already have models and paint jobs all through the game and modelled down to the engine level , we just don't have access to purchase and keep them (that black Kusanagi or custom Shion found I don't remember where, oof)

- Elusive gigs / Community generated gigs
Take a page out of the book of the recent Hitman trilogy and their Elusive targets. Have fixers texting us (don't need voice acting, they already just text us for vehicles and deets on gigs) the details of an elusive gig that would be available maybe only for a week, either we only get one chance (if dying we can't retry, the target is gone) or we can retry but it's a very high difficulty mission with high reward. That could also be an opportunity to reopen some areas like the Konpeki Plaza and others.
Include an editor/templates to allow the community to post gigs and have people add content to the game over time, letting them be creative with it.

Night City is an amazing setting and having some content to give us reasons to keep exploring, existing in this city would elevate the experience beyond finishing the main story.

In my opinion, there's a real potential to "pull a No Man's Sky" so to speak. Acknowledge where things are at, add content that makes sense and progressively take steps to a new vision for the game. What's done is done, and there's a lot of work and talent already poured into it.

Aren't all these suggestions pointless since they are currently working on the only expansion CP77 is getting

Hopefully the add more things to do in the game after you finish everything but don't count on anything

To your point, personally agree that it's better to manage expectations and avoid any disappointment.
Maybe the suggestions are pointless, but it doesn't hurt to put them out there and who knows, maybe CDPR eventually collect ideas, look at the patterns of the ones that get repeated most often / most requested and considers them. Just maybe.

Dear

CDPR Devs, I have compiled a list of suggestions and requests for features that I would love to see added into Cyberpunk 2077.

After the main line is completed for any secondary character, see Panam, Judy Alvarez and others, it would be nice to add the possibility of a smaller action in addition to talking or visiting, see for example clearing out some mobile camp with enemies with panam, or looking for supplies. E.g. with Judy again to save puppets, help people.

I would also take it if it could be played in Co-op, but I'm guessing that either it won't be, or that it won't be a primary concern at the moment.

Thank you and have a nice day.

All good points so far.

I sure hope they don't give up adding stuff to cyberpunk 2077 just because its too expensive to keep hiring johnny keanu chungus silverhand.
Make dlc that adds features to the game world, such as base building, crew hiring, crew customizing, individual crew members level, crew risk of cyberpsychosis, crew risk of betrayal, crew spy and sabotager, crew vs rival gangs war, base defending.
