Death by cutscene

So I just got killed in a cut scene finisher. Again.

WHAT THE FUCK. You pour an hour into Arena, stun an opponent, and while you are watching Geralt do his thing, an enemy comes up and kills you...in a fucking cut scene. No you don't die in the cut scene, but you do as soon as the normal camera returns. The damage is actually dealt during a bloody cut scene. This is absurd. CDPR, are you guys EVER going to fix this?

My sincere sympathies. Haven't played TW2 yet, but have had my fair share of unavoidable "bugged" deaths after long sessions in countless games.

The trick is to have punching bag ready, so nothing delicate gets to feel the anger and frustration.

Sigh. Slimgrin, you're a glutton for punishment. Install the damned mod already.

Disable Finishers

Have you tried removing finishers.dzip from the CookedPC directory?

I can't recall, but does this prevent me from uploading score?

I actually have installed your mod in the past, and I'm grateful for it. It's just weird to see no dying animation.

This just removes the DLC finishers, right?

That doesn't work - it just contains a couple of extra finishers that were deemed too violent for some country or other so they were pulled out from the main file.

No, it doesn't prevent score upload.
Yup, it's weird not seeing dying animation, but you have to decide for yourself which is worse - missing the dying animation, or dying :)
