Death March difficulty in The Witcher 3

If anyone could answer this question it would be appreciated.
So, I am at level 20 and about 30-40 hours into TW3 and I am having a problem with the difficulty. It's just getting way too easy on the Blood And Broken Bones setting with all the potions, decoctions, oils, and bombs that I have. If an enemy isn't 5 or 6 levels above me it just isn't a challenge. Sorry, I'm not trying to sound like a Wither 3 badass, I'm just wondering if the Death March setting has perma-death? I want to make the game more difficult without risking what I already have. I have been role playing and not using certain items to try and lower my advantage, so any advice/opinions are also greatly appreciated.

No perma death. There's no perma death mode at all.
But it's harder (I guess? That's actually the only difficulty I ever played the game, so I'm not even sure to what extent things change).

This problem creep-ed up in the Witcher 2 *cough* improved quen *cough* the only rememdy is to make sure to attempt quests that are purely your level and ignore keeping your gear up-to-date. The fact you have to play differently to make the game challenging is a short-coming in my opinion but there is really no other way.

In response to your question about perma-death, the game does indeed have perma-death. This is for PC only, I am unclear of the perma-death solution for the consoles.

Go to Start, Control Panel. On that page you will see "Programs", choose "Uninstall", Once on that page scroll down to the witcher 3 and choose "uninstall" The game may prompt you and ask if you would like to delete saves, hit yes when this appears. In case it does not ask you about saves you will need to go this next route, instructions follow. Click Start and type in the available window "My Documents", then click on the my documents folder and then click on the witcher 3, make sure the witcher 3 folder is highlighted and then right click and choose DELETE. When prompted to confirm, hit yes.

Perma death. Enjoy. Now this is the ULTRA hardcore mode of gaming, the highest level perma death that even kills the game and is for those folks wanting a "Real challenge" I wonder if they would even reinstall the game after going through all that.

No need to thank me, glad I could help.

I know you said not to thank you, but I really must, you see playing a deleted game with my PC turned off is by far the ultimate challenge, I think more people should this!

Thanks again!

For the rest of you who replied I do appreciate the help, I will turn up the difficulty to last setting, I was surprised that I could not find any answers about perms-death any where else on the Internet. I do agree that this problem is small short coming for those of us who like to play with a real challenge, no offense to anyone else's way of playing. But I can't critisize CD Project too much for the wealth items and gameplay mechanics and locations more than make up for this issue. I definetly enjoy being OPed when some dip shit human's start talking crap and I can decapitate most of them in one or two hits.
