No I don't, hence why I am not a moderator - but this battle wouldn't be won by me no matter how right I feel that I am (on a philosophical level, and supported by the forum rules, which I reviewed before I made my first post on this thread) so I am at a disadvantage. Moderators always stick together, and when all fails you pull out the "Also you don't know the full story of the OP." gun. What interest do I have with the full story? I don't moderate nor do I have the slightest interest in doing so - but what prevents you or any other moderator here turning on me next? Or any other given member, if all that is needed is for a moderator to dislike a post or the member.

Seriously ... Please read OP's post again, and again if you don't have it right. It is offensive, not because he doesn't like the game, or not because he says that TW2 is bad, no, it's offensive because the whole tone of the post is offensive.

I always thought TW2 arm wrestling mini game is an insult to an ape's intelligence.

That's enough for me and fortunately looks like moderator agrees, to call that guy a troll. And I'm rather happy the moderators take actions in this case (also it seems one post was deleted). I don't come on a game's forum to read that kind of crap. If you come on a forum to read that, if you feel like it's what you like on a forum, maybe you're the one who is wrong there.

If you were reading the forum a bit more, you would also see that the moderators often take the defense of guys having a bad opinion on TW2. It's completely untrue that it's because OP says bad things about TW2 that he is called a troll.

You're actually even quite close of being called a Troll yourself (at least by me) if you continue declaring things like that without any evidences. Take a look at the forum, read the thread where a moderator has posted something, and you'll find many examples that moderators don't blame someone just for having a bad opinion on the game, as long as it's said the right way. So please stop this whole "authority rejection" you're trying to do, and move on.

Don`t want to bust your bubble but the moderators here don`t always stick together . Maybe this link will sort of fill you in http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/23196-dev-the-witcher-2-will-be-the-most-complex-rpg-ever-released-on-console/ .

It is the moderators job here to keep the trolls and flaming of members to a minimum and a single post will not do that 99% of the time . However when we see a series of posts by the same user we do get an idea of what kind of user this is...whether it be a troller , baiter , or just plain obnoxious to other members .

Can you give an example of where any moderator here turned on a member for any single post that he or she made ? First we give some sort of verbal warning either in the thread or by PM and sometimes both . Only after the previous mentioned options don`t work to we take steps further . And yes we give users here great freedom to discuss whatever they wish . But when a thread or user turns sour then we need to step in and deal with it ...for the good of the forum .

I also realize that i didn`t need to explain to you how things work but decided to do so to sort of let you know how we work ans to also let you know what we deal with .

Thank you for allowing me the purpose of explaining our position here and i hope you continue to enjoy the forum .

Hmmm I don't know, I wonder if it's worth replying seeing what a defensive stance you moderators take. It seems that none of you are really interested in a fair dialogue and that's disappointing. Telling a customer that "...I also realize that i didn`t need to explain to you how things work but decided to do so to sort of let you know how we work ans to also let you know what we deal with...", well that speaks for itself. I wonder who moderates the moderators in case they start to turn sour and perhaps no longer have the objectivity to retain the professional responsibility that comes with their position. Is it customer service that we report such matters to?

You can report to whoever you feel like .

I posted in and with the best intention i could...sorry you couldn`t see that or is it that you cannot see any side but your own ? But it seems it was a lost cause . Now i`m beginning to wonder what kind of user you are ? Or would you rather discuss in PM`s ?

I don't usually participate in those kind of debates, but I think you're a bit biased against Mods here, the reasons you mentioned might apply on other forums, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I'm a member since Dec 07, and to my knowledge, I've never seen or heard that a Moderator in these forums has abused his power, or crossed the line in any way. It's actually quite the contrary, they are very forgiving and polite!

If you have proof of such behavior, please provide a link, otherwise please stop the pointless discussion.

No, I really am not. I think this entire conversation has trailed off and I am sorry for it. I have never had any run-ins with anyone on any other forums, or this one, I merely threw in my two cents but I guess in retrospect I shouldn't have. Maybe people misunderstood my comment as being in defense of the OP, but that's also not the case. I still think that the moderators who participated in this thread are defensive and facetious. I am sorry that they don't care to see it any other way but theirs - but that said, I welcome any private messages also if they wish to convince me otherwise.

I'd rather not have arm wrestling made into something tedious, given it's my main source of getting extra money when I'm running short of Orens for crafting or buying something. I prefer going through something simple again and again rather than something complicated and tedious that I'd have to keep quicksaving for.

The arm wrestling games are challenging enough if you switch the difficulty up to Hard or Insane. Besides this is just a minor part of the game, something that just makes Geralt a little money and advances a minor sidequest.
