Running a self buff only Cyrus deck and been having a blast with it!
It doesn't run any removal, it's all engine overwhelm plays but has some pretty potent combos that break down into smaller combos if things go bad.
Leader: Cyrus Hemmelfart
Why? Only 1 reason; combos with Igor Scribe plays. You could change leaders to KoB or Godrun easily though with some minor deck tweaks.

The theme of the gold cards is mostly consistency, sacrificing staples to allow Igor Scribe shenanigans in 2 rounds during the match.
Binky can be swapped out, I like her because she's essentially another Townsfolk on steroids which plays reaaaaally well with Igor Scribe combos. If you don't run Binky I suggest Philippa Eilhart so you can seize what you spawn with Operator (2 Townsfolk or Tax Collectors without using one in your starting deck rocks!)
Renew and Necromancy are to enable a 2nd Igor Scribe combo.

Blacksmith uses additional coins generated by Scribe, Imke and Tax Collector as well as your crime cards.
Eavesdrop is for a 4 profit mulligan. Even if you don't need to mulligan,just mulligan whatever card you drew.
Eternal Fire Disciple triggers Scribe which triggers Townsfolk and Bincy.
Ideal field:
Scribe, Townsfolk in melee row, Blacksmith 5+ coins and a way to summon Igor.
Summon Igor, target Scribe and play count the coins, spending excess coins with Blacksmith.
The combo can scale back all the way to just 5+ coins, Scribe and Igor provided you use Cyrus as your leader.
Finally, you can also slow build with Igor, spawning Townsfolk and Tax Collectors but that REQUIRES Blacksmith on the field so it's a 4 card combo whereas the Scribe combo is technically 2 cards if you have enough coins.
