Default map zoom to minimum please!
This is a constant bother and one of the little but crucial things that would improve usability a lot for me. Whenever I open the map, it's always fully zoomed in, and that means that any kind of scrolling, whenever you want to see something that is not the current position, which is most of the cases (i.e. for traveling), you have to first zoom all the way out to get a decent map move speed.
Zooming in is the exception. It's only needed when you need exceptional close-distance detail, which is rarely the reason for opening the map.
It's also not how you use a map in real life.
And it is so bothersome that by now I have taken up the habit of pressing and holding down the minus-key on my keypad while moving the map around with my mouse. Because getting from maximum to minimum zoom using the scroll wheel is bothersome, too, since the zoom speed with the wheel is too slow to be practical.
