Deleting PS4 Saves With The PS5 Version?

So I'm getting back into Cyberpunk 2077, this time playing the PS5 version after having previously done it with the PS4 version. I wanted to clean up my save files, so I was going to delete all the PS4 save file data, except I'm getting the message that the PS5 version cannot delete saves made in the PS4 version. Is there any way to delete those PS4 saves aside from going into storage on the console and manually deleting the PS4 data (which I'm worried might cause glitches or some such)?

You can load the PS4 save, save it again which will make it to a ps5 file you can delete

Okay, I finally got around to trying to get rid of the save files and the method suggested did not work. Does anyone have another solution?

Your best bet would be the console manger, you can save them to the cloud if you have psn, then you have a backup and then delete from the console. You mentioned glitches, I'm pretty certain that deleting the saved won't cause a glitch.
