Derran question

Does he work with tuisearch skirmishers? Meaning, if you remove them from your deck with Derran, do you get them on the board? Or is the skirmisher ability locked to work only if they get Discarded?
it's kind of confusing because I'm not sure if Derrans ability = Discard in this case.

No, it does not count as discarding, thus skirmishers do not work with them

It says Move three cards from your Deck to your Graveyard, not Discard three cards. Gwent, if nothing else, is absolutely literal.

Derran does work with Morkvarg and Phoenix, though.

Yeah, knew about them. Was gonna be a lot more useful for the skirmishers for my deck though ,if it worked.
