Deus Ex?

Hello. I am hoping someone at CD Projekt Red sees this. I started playing Cyberpunk 2077 a little over 2 years ago. It seemed like a suitable replacement for the Deus Ex series, which sadly was abandoned by it's creators. I love Cyberpunk. The gameplay somewhat similar to DE and the open-world setting makes it in many ways even better.
That got me thinking, how awesome would it be if CDPR bought the Deus Ex series? The series had a great storyline and CDPR could do so many awesome things with it. Since Eidos Montreal has clearly lost interest in the series, I think CDPR should make them an offer!

I think the series should just stay dead. There's a horrific corporate forced obsession with churning media into the ground by keeping it existing in perpetuity, robbing it of all artistic merit. Besides which, what is the point of having two series that will be essentially the same, made by the same company?

Also, there are enough projects in the works already and growing too fast can be very risky for developers.
I‘d say right now it‘s better for CDPR to focus on their own games.

Agreed, I vastly prefer to see novelty instead of old franchises keep getting necromanced into oblivion, more often than not producing works of worse quality than the originals, back when said franchises were a novelty (the reason why we liked them in the first place). CDPR should focus on Cyberpunk, we've seen too little from it and it's a universe that deserves to be explored more.

Also, both universes are indeed so similar they might as well be the same, CDPR has a game of the Cyberpunk genre already.
