I think both systems are ok, but i think using the medallion in TW2 makes more sense to me than in TW1, i never used the Medallion there.
Oh, I agree with this part. It just interrupts the flow of the game that he actually has to stop every time he uses it - I wish you could just pop it while in motion.BlaiddGwyn said:I like both. The only thing that is super annoying is how Geralt actually stops when he touches his medal! Why so? I mean for a guy who has high reflexes and so on, he can't walk and touch a medal at the same time? It makes no logical sense. Also, he should be able to touch it even in combat!

I heard that those are the ones holding really special items, like armors with totally unique modells and such.DocDoomII said:The new system doesn't bother me.
What really bothers me is that there are quite a few 'containers' that lit up using the amulet but cannot be reached and therefore cannot be looted.
Yes I know...GODzilla said:I heard that those are the ones holding really special items, like armors with totally unique modells and such.

Well, those are minor faults in the level design. There is probably just junk in those anyway.![]()
Or it was a deliberate design choice, a metaphor of Geralt's memory.GODzilla said:I heard that those are the ones holding really special items, like armors with totally unique modells and such.

the medallion has more of a role and purpose in witcher 2 unlike in witcher 1 where it just vibrates around monsters and magic. i liked what they did with it though it took a while getting used to it. i loved to destroy monsters with traps and the medallion helped me collect a huge no in flotsam, used to run around with 20 traps in my inventory, place all of them in front of me and taunt monsters like endrenga queens to come after me and its like the monsters walked into my own personal mine feildRebelMC said:sometimes the medallion dosent work if you press z a lot. now that's annoying.
