Did anybody else think that The Witcher 2 could've used more sex?

I don't think that The Witcher 2 could've used more sex: in my opinion, it is already enough. I have nothing against it, but as for blood and gore elements, I think that a balance is needed: for example, I've feelt a bit unnecessary the initial scene with Triss naked. I like also games like God of War and Yakuza, and both of them have sex scenes, but even there those scenes are few and not excessive. Also, I don't think that sex scenes add maturity or realism to the game: exactly the opposite, the balance means maturity, because the focus of TW should always be the deep plot, and I think that exceeding with sex or gore, some people would stop their judgement to the "surface" and identify the game just for those elements

We should have been able to hire Elven Prostitutes! The human prostitutes were ugly and there were elven ones around. I don't see why Geralt can't hire one.

Hmm, i had to check that. It's true, in polish version she never mentioned dwarfs. Looks like i need to replay tw2. Still don't think that sex with Saskia dragon-virgin is appropriate especially since she was never interested with Geralt.

I believe that the sex in W2 played perfectly well in the story. One had the option to skip the scenes but once you become involved with a character and begin to enjoy and have feelings for that character, the option for love making should be there. It also goes for Gerald's character. He's a loner with feelings but hasn't really made a choice in his life towards a monogamous relationship. An occasional romp in the hay is normal, bought for or not! For those who feel its repugnant and would rather not see it at all, either don't choose that option (feelings for the character would still be there and visa-versa), or don't play the game! Its about time a game came out where sex is a part of the story! That is as true to real life as it gets! Unless you're a Nun or Priest!

OOPS, to answer your question, there were NPCs I would have thought were open to a little love making so yes, they're could' have been a little more but not to the extent it took away from the main goal and story line.

How much more, really? There are enough story-based sex-scenes and babes for Gerald, and we have brothels, where you can screw all your money away. The game is not terribly long, and if to screw every available NPC and every prostitute, it would be already way more then a reasonable amount.

I have no opinion about "more" but the quality could definitely be better. For instance, they could have made an affair with Sile instead of Ves, which for Geralt makes much more sense, in my opinion. That was just another contribution to my personal dislike of the Roche's side story.

Quite an opposite. If the plot writer would have bothered to make such twist, there would be no problem to write the script the way where it makes sense.

I honestly think the poster is trying to create a flame war between players who like adult material in games and fanatics players who don't want them at all.. Yeah, but maybe they didn't want to, maybe they didn't think it would really make sense to have sex with Sile. And it would take from parts of the rest of the story.

I agree. Although a small part of me was disappointed that we wouldn't see her magnificent tresses freed from that head gear.

Yea one of my favorite character dynamics was with Sile. There was some obvious tension that I believe was mutual (but much more from Geralt), but at the end of the day Sile is uninterested considering the circumstances (that and I am not sure she'd be keen to trust another Witcher again so soon).

And this helped Sile to be such a good character, albeit subtle. It took me several playthroughs to truly grasp her.

What'd Letho mean when he said he "got her gander up a bit". I think Sile took a bit of pity on him or she found him attractive in a disposable way.
