Nope..they confirmed it on the IGN livestream. Also there is no unique gear for Death March.Oh that's good to know. Death March isn't permadeath rigth?
Yeap, and AC:U got 9/10... i guess that's polish sens of consistent standards...:rofl:
So they rate W3 8.5 because of bugs, but that unplayable bugfest called Skyrim is 10...:rofl:
@maork22 Do you happen to have a link to a video of the stream? tyYou should look check out the footage of Novigrad from the IGN stream and perhaps get a better impression.

I noticed them too, in fact I noticed a quite a few large object that have a terrible pop in. It is so strange, the trees for example have an excellent pop in range mostly where say in Skyrim they would appear right in front of you sometimes, but the huge arse sails just spawn out of nowhere in TW3, also some big parts of buildings (when approaching the harpy nest tower in IGN stream). The single thing that stood out to me was the pop-in of the Lateen sails on the royal barge. As they are so prominent, they really need a LOD culling depth similar to the nearby buildings or hull of the vessel, rather than the details on the ship...
Noticed it in several streams, and videos from the reviews and official publicity... Hopefully it attracted enough attention to be flagged and fixed during the first few patch cycles. There will probably be a few other elements like that which stand out too, but so far not seen any.
It seems slightly better on PC, but for a big city Novigrad still feels kind of sparsely populated. This is literally the only graphical issue that I've found worth mentioning so far, since crowds are such an important part of the feel of a city in a video game. They don't even have to be Assassin's Creed style giant masses of people, just maybe 20-40 people on screen at any given time. I hope that there's still such people density in some parts of the city. You should look check out the footage of Novigrad from the IGN stream and perhaps get a better impression.
This made me lol. What I found even more amusing, is the fact you're actually trying to reason with these people ;pWhy the **** are we having this conversation. How ubsurd have things become really? "They're pixels"
I can't take gamergate or feminists seriously anymore.
" Oh! Won't someone think of the Pixels! Take GTA V off the shelves! The pixels of NPCs are being harmed!"
"The pixels are being exploited!"
Jesus if anyone thinks like this, like honestly thinks like this GTFO this planet - - - - - >
On that note, if you see any review sites going down the path of this
"Won't someone think of the pixels" rhetoric call them stupid, move along & give them a darwin award for participation in life.
I'll break it down for you.
In essence Gamergate & feminists & review sites that mix the two (you know who you are)
Are essentially doing this.
"Won't someone think of the 10101's!"
"101101 is being exploited!"
GTFO. If you're a review site pulling this crap in Witcher 3 reviews idiots.
Talking about the **** they're trying to pull with "Ciri this & Ciri that violation of rights mixed in reviews"
It's make believe, stop taking acid.
I agree with this, it's a dumb choice.BLESS WHOEVER AT CD PROJEKT DECIDED GERALT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY DRAW THE CORRECT SWORD WHEN COMBAT STARTS
Well, this is bad if true. The Witcher 3 has been greatly simplified. While potions and oils are still present and occasionally necessary, the need for preparation is mostly gone on the default difficulty. Geralt can swing his sword without getting tired, and signs are tied to the same stamina as basic physical actions like dodging.
How? On the contrary to the claim, it is not a simplification at all, but added complexity. In TW2 dodging did absolutely nothing to your stamina and you still cast Signs out of the same pool you parried from, and I see no reason why that should have been changed.Well, this is bad if true.
Actually that was addressed in the review, let us not forget that reviews and games are made by people and people have their own bias.Someone needs to tell to whoever wrote that Polygon review that there is a difference between a game being misogynistic and a game portraying a misogynistic world. According to that review's logic, Schindler's List, Green Mile, Selma, 12 Years a Slave etc. are all disappointments because they are all racist.
It did the same a lot of the time in TW2, it just got it wrong occasionally.I agree with this, it's a dumb choice.
Because it seems that, without any vigor decreasement, you can spam dodge and roll, and this is an exploit to win all the fight (as I've read in other review). And that you don't need the alchemy. How? On the contrary to the claim, it is not a simplification at all, but added complexity. In TW2 dodging did absolutely nothing to your stamina and you still cast Signs out of the same pool you parried from, and I see no reason why that should have been changed.
There was never any need for potions or oils on the default difficulty in a Witcher game. From Polygon.
I agree with this, it's a dumb choice.
Well, this is bad if true.
And I never said that in TW2 it was good. It was just acceptable because in a linear HUB patter RPG, the enemy encounters are not so frequently. It did the same a lot of the time in TW2, it just got it wrong occasionally.
In first one, yes. There was never any need for potions or oils on the default difficulty in a Witcher game.
