[DISCUSSION] Witcher 3 Screenshots and Artwork

So...is he saying that bandit does not say bandit over a bandits head until we lock on to that bandit? I don't even want that cue, I don't get it lol..
Oh well... if it looks more natural and cleaner compared to TW2 I'll manage ;)

As I understand what he said, when you approach and focus on an NPC, the name will display, but only when you are in interaction range. I assume that is what he means.

Well that does not make sense, because 1 of the recent videos Danny just posted on gamespot didn't show shit over the bandits heads while in combat, and it was perfect.
That's what I want on console options too ;)

Author praises Russian text localization, saying that it's much better than the Russian book translations.

Boolsh*t!!
Russian book translation was p-e-r-f-e-c-t.
And russian localized voiceovers (in trailers) are total crap: wrong intonations, wrong actor casting, wrong mood.
Most russian gamers would play in English. Localized version would use only those, who do not know English. i.e. children.

New, beautiful, and atmospheric. THX

Kaer Morhen on the world map.

Isn't it supposed to be more to the east, in the Blue Mountains? It's not just for the sake of complaining, but I feel slightly annoyed when they have to change things like this for no real reason. Seeing how they seem to be following the map from The Witcher 2, it looks like it's in the heart of Kaedwen now.

I'd imagine that the in-game map is indicating that is the Kaer Morhen 'area'. Meaning the whole area you can roam. Not just the keep/fortress in itself. (I guess)

He's a handsom devil eh?; (I cropped it because it had a youtuber's face in the shot)

Not even directed at this shot specificaly - the shear level of detail in this game is unprecedented for an open world, imo. It's amazing.

There is a small outline that supposedly indicates the area you can roam about, but if you look at the map from The Witcher 2, the fortress should still be quite a way to the east.

Anyway, going by the same map, I tried to identify the settlements and pair them accordingly. All in all it would seem they've changed the geography only a little bit.

Don't know if it's been discussed but you can fight while standing on a boat and Ekhidnas can chip you boat.
