There are also flames in the zone near to Oxenfurt. Maybe is a conflictive or devastated zone?

Maybe. But such a tiny corner of the map? And just below the area around Vizima? With a possible reference to Cintra?

Just let a man dream, damn it :p

I think this is a part of White Orchard, you can see the impaled bodies and thebattlefield in this video:

I think the biggest issue people have with the graphics is that there are no shadows/ssao on the grass and fact that the aa is fxaa wich looks hella ugly.

I have also heard that load distance is locked, why? Can it be changed trough ini files?

The problem is that in a medieval open-world game like this, ubiquitous grass would cause a massive performance hit. That of course doesn't obviate the need to have it in the options. I'm rather sure that the game will at least have Nvidia's proprietary TXAA in addition to FXAA.

Yes, load distance is locked, I'm not sure how easy it is to modify.

I will probably just disable fxaa, it and CA only makes games uglier.

Ah, well, I made a point not to spoil myself the very beginning of the game, so my hopes are not completely dead yet. :D Thanks for the heads-up, though!

my childhood self is deeply pleased with all this violence against clowns

i gotta say, someone earlier was complaining about interior lighting in tw3 in comparison with tw2, but i have to disagree and i think some of that interior lighting is my favourite of what i've seen so far.

Interesting. It looks like RED again added the round glow effect around candle fire. It was in 35 min demo and in SOD trailer. But after that i did not notice this effect. And in this picture it appeared again. That was cool effect which i missed after SOD trailer and 35 min demo. Now i am happy again :)

At last, CDPR turned their attention to the real villains of this world. Violence against clowns is certainly something that the Witcher games could use more of.
That blur is still not blurry enough though, and now I'm imagining Roche dressed up like a clown. It is... beautiful.

In all the recent screens that show the sky, the clouds always seem so flat. Where did the semi-volumetric clouds go? Have they been cut down?
