DLC #17: "Monster Pack"

DLC #17: "Monster Pack"

This is obviously me dreaming, however, I think I can honestly say I would gladly trade DLC's 1-15 (I'm keeping NG+) for this one "Monster Pack". I'm trying to keep it reasonable while still being giddy just imagining it.. Maybe 10 new random monster encounters post-story. High level killers that keep you playing long after the end of the main story arc. Just imagine how awesome it would be to be exploring looking to encounter the fabled Giant Manticore of Ard Skellige..... Story wise the game could be unaffected by adding these post-game monsters in through signs hanging around towns or perhaps on notice boards.... Maybe have them only spawn after increments of post story XP. Maybe a new monster every 1,000 post game experience points??? Would you like to see this, and have any ideas that could make it a possibility ?? I think this would be the ultimate DLC that the community would absolutely flip over... Let's bump this up and get word to Marcin. This is obviously more than a simple add-on or extra outfit and easily, IMO, qualifies as "expansion" and I'd be more that happy to pay for something this amazing... $9.99 seems extremely reasonable... I think most would agree?

BRING IT ON !!

(btw, thanks so much CDPR for making this epic gaming experience and for caring so much about what the community thinks. In 2015, you are the best dev's in the world. TYVM!)

I'd prefer this one over the NG+ thingy. Monster variety is one of my main points of citisism.

New monster's would be cool. Maybe have them be like "rare" breeds that randomly spawn.

There's no need of new monsters.
But there would be need of new attacks patterns.

I'd like more/new monsters AND attack patterns/animations. Making the combat slightly more 'complex' would be very welcome, too. :)

This sounds dangerous. I mean, romancing a succubus is one thing, but romancing a deadly bruxa is like a guaranteed death sentence.

Oh hell, why not! :hai:

I think people are referring to known mosnters in the Wicther universe but are currently are not in Witcher3, things like Kikimores, Bruxae etc.

There's a precedent for this in witcher 1 with the proprietor of the "House of lady of the night" brothel in Vizima.

+1 for more monsters

Also more and some bigger monsters would not be bad... Hello Bullvore's !

Or different types of mermaids, sea monsters for skellige etc..
Skellige seas need some serious love...Its so boring ...

Some Kayran Fight would be nice in the water...
Circle around him with your boat, and hit him a few times on different points with the crossbow

I think it makes more sense to answer that wish with the two expansions than with a dlc.

The Kayran in witcher 2 showed signs of magical experimentation, they weren't meant to ever grow that big. Though the books do have similar creatures living in the Pontar river south of Oxenfurt that Geralt is hired to protect barges from while Yennefer teaches Ciri the basics of magic at the temple of Melitele.

I know, but the kayran was a good example...it could be just a big octopus or another bigger sea creature...
Just a "highlight" for skellige seas..they are too boring.

I think its a good idea to get new monsters with more attack patterns. Heck...a quest based on the accolades trailer would be nice too. :)

If the game had some better underwater combat I would suggest Kraken, Vodyanoi or even Kelpie to be found in Skellige.
