DLC Idea: Shadowrun.

+
Goblinization.
Use-able Drones via cyberdeck (datajack equivalent).
That empty Stat Block? Magic. Hermetic Magic. Qi / Wushu / Majutsu Sorcery. Shamanic Traditions, Summons, Fetishes. THAT Magic.
Corpo Reskins? Dragon running Saeder-Krupp? Blood Sacrificing Aztecnology running stuffer shacks? Arasaka: Renraku Red Samurai? Kusanagi Cyberninja?
Renraku Vs Neonet: Who owns the interwebs?
Could work. Corpos are cheap bastards anyway (unless it's their luxury).

Oh!... and let's toss in a Ciri spreading the Wolf School Tradition to the Barrens... So the sprawl can hunt its ghouls, wraiths, hags, lesser vampires, nekkers, leshens, et monstrum cetera.

Real World Licensing Aside, I think it could work. We could wait a year, then throw it in as an homage to the timing of OG Shadowrun dropping 1 year after OG Cyberpunk.

Maybe we shouldn't. If CDPR gets it right, we might be playing this shenanigan into the next decade.

You understand that Shadowrun is it's own license utterly unconnected to the Cyberpunk RPG from R.Talsorian that this game is derived from?

Yea, I've always liked Shadowrun better than Cyberpunk. As silly as the premise seems, the inclusion of magic makes the struggle between nature and technology play out meaningfully in the game systems, instead of being this big philosophical question that gets tossed out the window the second you want to build a powerful character. I also like how their XP is karma, so the struggle between greed and conscience has a mechanical payoff for both paths.

I love how in Shadowrun, everything comes with a cost.
Cyber costs Essence. Magic Needs Essence.

Although, Knowledge and good judgment can definitely bend/bow that limit.

It should have come with a humanity cost in Cyberpunk. Realy dont see why that was not implemented :O

In this universe (CP2020 world), heavy modifications provides fantasy-ism, furryfication, kemonomimi, borg-ism, Alienism, etc. If CDPR wanna do it, they can, but of course the elements of "magic" & "mysticism" is a totally a different things than Shadowrun with actual magic/sorcery being put in front.

Here is one of the rarest example that I found in the game of actual furryfication, a blue croc animal boss:
