Works for Apple, but this is MS. They're being driven to the brink of destruction by those filthy, evil, sub-humans who have *still* refused to upgrade from XP. Obviously, the correct and best thing to do about this would be to make it a criminal offense to use any device or software that isn't of the latest generation, but until they manage to get the relevant legislation passed, they have to deal with it the best they can.cmdrsilverbolt said:@ dragonbird, new is always better, hence more expensive. Someone needs Corporate 101.
Hey, hands off XP! It is the best thing that happened to humankind since the sliced bread. If its use is ever outlawed, I'll start a militia group and defend it by force! Let's see how well MS corporate people will do against machine guns!dragonbird said:Works for Apple, but this is MS. Well, yes, of course it was, but when you buy something you can't seriously expect to use it indefinitely. Without making ANY further payment to the person you bought it from. Where would we be if everyone took that attitude?vivaxardas said:Hey, hands off XP! It is the best thing that happened to humankind since the sliced bread.
And that's just silly. Where's the long-term revenue stream? What they SHOULD do is provide DRM-removal on a monthly subscription basis.vivaxardas said:I bet EA guys are reading this threat and writing down our suggestions for their next meeting. DRM removal for $200 (50% discount for five and more games if purchased simultaneously) sound especially interesting.
Sorry, but I think someone has already advised that all DLC will be on cloud storage, thus also requiring always-online internet connection.RezoInverse said:But before anything, you can't miss the "DLC-HD package", the only thing which gonna allow the gamer to buy and store any DLCs.
25$ dollars = 8Gb allowed for download by player.
And just for this month: Unlimited download permission, for 95$ dollars!!
*Monthly $ 10 included.
Clouds are free only up in the sky. Virtual clouds cost money to maintain. Our loyal customers should understand that this is done only in their best interests.dragonbird said:Sorry, but I think someone has already advised that all DLC will be on cloud storage, thus also requiring always-online internet connection.

Developers? Do you think that big companies are driven by developers?cmdrsilverbolt said:I know what you're saying, mariobros777, and I have to add: developers need to get out the special snowflake syndrome and realize they're competing for our money. There will always be other games to play. If there aren't, give up on gaming. Seriously. Anything is better than being a cash cow for someone else, fuck that.
Well the money to spend on thin air is pulled out of the same thin air by bankers feeding on the dream of something new and shiny to ease the pain. The only time this becomes real is when the debt has to be paidmariobros777 said:(...) Problem is, many people are voluntary suckers willing to spend money on thin air, and brainless parasites like them feed and fuel greed and corruption.
