DLC Predictions [Spoiler]

+
Well too bad my V ending was different, so making a DLC for every single ending in the game would be non realistic at best, and then what? Am I supposed to buy only the DLC that continues my story? Or are they gonna make another generic storyline where you pick waht you did in the previous game and just make every other ending converge to the same point AGAIN? no thanks.
I prefer, at this point, something completely unrelated to V, and only after this game is in a decent state gameplay wise.

im tellin ya, DLC probably will be played with different character, remember Johnny Silverhand part ? yeah similar to that.

If they go for CP2020 with proper colors and character style and...oh... why do I keep fooling myself..
Yes you're right. That was a big "see what we are going to do!??!!? h3h3h3h3h3h3h3h3h3

They could easily carry on a couple of the main stories post game.

A few of the endings are kinda cut off I think, where as the nomad story ending especially leaves it open for a massive dlc potentially.

I'd love to see Panam and V's story develop more in an attempt to save V (this is what I'm hoping for the most lol), especially after the amazing character development of the aldecardos. They also mention Arizona and in the credits Panam mentions another camp so there could be something to go off there. Idunno.

Not too keen on the idea of playing other characters for a whole dlc, maybe for a mission or two but not an entire installation.

I entirely agree,
it is rather a sad ending (all of them) and could've been more optimistic. But having six months to live, Judy leaving me to chase after her desires (nothing bad honestly, but we shared a bond.. come on) while calling me an asshole (while not having a choice to actually abandon the last gig and stay with her as a possible outcome). The Panam route seems to be the only happy one, but I don't want to be a nomad and this leaves story expansion OUT because V's story essentially ends. Also seeing V struggle in space with her last facial expressions is kind of a letdown and saddening. I am about to try the secret ending, to see how I feel after that one as well, but I have no different expectations.

But regardless this is not actually a problem but a personal preference and the story is more than decent. What I really wanted to see and expected in the narrative, however, is that the story itself should've explored more transhumanism, think Ghost in the Shell for example.

As far as I remember, the game WAS inspired by the likes of Blade Runner, Neuromancer, and Ghost in the Shell. But I see nothing in terms of the narrative regarding these sources.

A wild hope of mine and a far fetched one at that is the desire to reintroduce Humanity as a variable based on VISIBLE body modifications and cyberware. Which can be directly entangled in the subject of transhumanism. It shouldn't follow the story of V, a separate more personalized from the player character can be explored with more RPG elements. That is my desire for DLC.

What is even the Purpose of Alt in the game... I sincerely hoped to see more of her/it when I first encountered this cyber "diety". And considering the dialogue before starting the last mission when going with Rogue's path, it is CLEAR that Alt still has human emotions that cannot be erased when talking with Johnny as he tries to apologize. I hoped this was explored more.

At this point though, I wish CDPR shows some sort of a roadmap and a glimpse of reintroduced features before bringing up DLCs. DLC's should introduce more story and expand on the world in my unprofessional and uneducated opinion.

Apologies for actually not speculating but stating my impressions, desires, and hopes, but considering the amount of cut content and broken promises, I cannot speculate anymore. Only far fetched hope remains.

Because of the way CP77 ends we can't have DLC that takes place after the ending credits. My prediction is that the first DLC will be with Jackie and those 6months that went by through the montage which imo should have already been in the game from the start. Second DLC might be interactions with the different gangs which again should have been in the game as well.

There's no way they'd have the audacity to make us pay for content that already should have been in the base game. If this happens, they are doomed.

No matter what you choose in ending, Illusive man...I means Mr. Blue Eye will revive you. Then you either side with super AI or humanity. Arasaka or other Megacorp are just super AI pawn :p

they can have dlc after the ending, just have to choose which is gonna be canon,
my bets the one where we're raiding the space casino will be it.
Would love to see some stats from cdpr on which endings how much playerbase got

Are you really thinking they are going to relase dlcs when the game is still on early access on so many aspects...

Holy.. I only now realized that comparison works, would love to see that

I don't think they'll expand endings in any way. There's not much left to say.
Only a complete rework of some of them maybe. And I dont think that's going to happen.

But V isn't dead. Not yet at least. In Nomad ending it is stated more than once he will try to find a cure. So DLC's can be about that. Potential cure is even mentioned in the game on News54. Yes, it is a stretch, but it's something to work on.

Yes, Panam suggests a few times at the end that they will work on helping V out. Which will be tough because all the good stuff is in Night City. But the more time I can spend with Panam the better! lol It was way short
