Hello, My name is Ali and this is my first time making a thread so if I made any mistake I'm really sorry. There was a problem in my witcher 3 gameplay on PS4. After the mission "Matter of life and death" Triss never returned my swords and I never unequipped those swords before starting the quest, they were taken by the guards. After the mission when I didn't have my weapons I tried going back to the manual save I made before the finishing the quest but it was same all the time. Those were the additional content katana looking swords I had. What do i do now?

Post moved. (Yup -- you did everything correctly!)

As for the issue, it sounds like the game may have flubbed up. I remember getting "Nine-Tailed Vixen" swords from one of the free DLC quests. Are those the ones?

Either way, probably the best bet is to avoid the issue. Reload an older saved game, put the katanas in your stash, complete the quest with generic swords, and then re-equip the katanas afterword. You can report the issue to CDPR Support, as well, but just working around it is probably the shortest distance between two points for now.

Thank you for the help, but now I think I'll just go and craft the Cat School gear because I don't have the save file before starting the quest. I just thought that I could be able to find those from somewhere where the guards could have stored them but that doesn't seems to be the case.
Yes, it was those swords.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm always behind forward motion. :ok: But yeah, having a manual save every couple hours or so is a good idea. There are still a few lurking issues like this that pop up here and there. (I usually do 5 rolling saves as I play TW3 or Cyberpunk. That's usually enough if a glitch or bug gets me from the side.)

Thanks dude... I just beat the game on death march difficulty with cat school gear and that gear set was totally worth it as I only ever use swords and quen.
well thanks for the suggestions. it's time to platinum the game for me.
