DLC thoughts ? (( Spoilers included ))

So it's announced dlc early 2021 , what could it be ?
When it comes to story dlc I would like to see V's story continued after ending with character we romanced as after romance that situation falls flat .
But is V's story done at end ? And will dlc just be add-on before ending , new quests and rewards ?

When it comes to content I really wanna experience the 6-month montage we got right now; as far as the ending mechanics work, I want sth different than loading the last check point before meeting Hanako.

they need to make our lifepaths matter.. At least at the start. Make few missions about lifepaths along side Jackie and make the street cred go to 75.. 1st act you need to get your streed cred to 25 so we can open THE HEIST.. Having few more missions with jackie and t-bug and we can have fun in act 1.. Act 1 was so cut that we need that redone so people can see the world before Jonny... the deserve to see that world and not the urgency that is jonny silverhand.

If the DLC is going to be related to the story with V and feature V as the protagonist, I agree with one of the previous posters. Some adventure set during the 6 month montage at the beginning of the game. You would have more time to bond with Jackie, explore T-Bug's backstory a little more, and add more context to your relationship with Victor and Mama Wells, who both appear to care deeply for V.

Also, I would love DLC that actually allows you to complete the Casino Heist from the Path of Glory Ending.

But, honestly, if we do get DLC, I would prefer a brand new Protagonist with a new story and motivations as it feels like V's story is largely complete.

I did star ending , you move to Arizona I think , would love to see v cured as panam knows people there who would help , start dlc there and v gets called back to city , another thing to I think it's Johnny's mansion in city can we have that as a home think you only see it if you agree to Johnny helping .

Kab = Kabuki
Arr = Arroyo
Jpn = Japan Town

So as far as the DLC that are planned goes it's just "street stories" as in more fixer missions 1 in Kabuki, 2 in Arroyo and 1 in Japan Town.

A lot of the assets for these are already in the game, including the subtitles and some of the voice over audio.

Probably free, you can find these quests already in the game files, at least the subtitles are there... I'm guessing they needed some extra work but this won't be a meaningful side mission just more fixer filler garbage.

I'm so tired of all the fuckin fixers D: why do we have so many gigs I want more story CDPR! lmao but seriously. At least they will be the free DLC's hopefully the expansions focus more on the characters and the story and we don't get ANYMORE gigs. Like fr we already have enough, I got fixers blowing up my phone every 2 minutes about some bs, I wish Panam would blow up my phone every 2 minutes instead </3

I won't be holding my breath for that one, I don't think Keanu is the reason why the story content was put on rails, I have a feeling that they have shifted development heavily towards a GTA Online style of gameplay and are betting on CP 2077 to be just a filler to get the brand up and running for when they ready to release their MP standalone title.

I have also a feeling that the switch of focus to MP is why they've change/gutted a lot of the gameplay mechanics such as those around hacking to be something more accessible and universal as well as why the cyberware options are much more limited than what they were selling.

I definitely feel that gigs would fit a GTA online style of multiplayer perfectly, I used to play a game called APB reloaded all the time it was an MMO basically played like GTA online before GTA V was a thing and the missions in that game remind me a lot of the gigs in this game. Save that for online games, it's such a shame that so many RPG developers decide to go this route and basically sell out by streamlining things for a multiplayer that none of the core fans really even want. *Cough* Dragon Age Inquisiton *Cough* Fallout 4/76 *Cough*

As far as "separate teams" there is no such thing in a game studio or any other development house people and teams are moved all the time from one project to another depending on requirements and timelines, it's pretty clear that they refocused the majority of the development resources and the focus of core teams that work on both towards the multiplayer project.
Unless they really spent all their time and money on cocaine and prostitutes partying every night nothing else explains why the game is in the state it is where every system is incomplete and broken.
Forget perks that don't work because they are buggy, there are perks for mechanics that are not in the game, that's such and oversight that can only be explained by the majority of the development work being shifted to a different project and then them having to rush to deliver what they can during the last time window where the old consoles which if we are being frank the vast majority of their presales and sales came from were still relevant.

Well tbh i hope that thats not the only dlc conntent we will get because if there isnt anything characterrelated in this dlc i guess i have to wait even MORE to play the game a second time. Or moders will release an companionmod or something like that AT LEAST.

Small stuff like Weapons/Cosmetics maybe some fun side quests.

The DLCs will be like in Witcher 3 early after release where you get skins for ciri, triss and yen, temerien weapon and clothes, nilfguardian set and stuff like that. Its NOT an expansion.
