Hmm is it just me or does that AC.R face look like Kanye West? LOLI just don't like when characters are changed through series. It looks like different actors. In Mass Effect was one Shepard and it was cool. And look at Assassin's Creed. Desmond Miles had different look in each part and it became worse and worse.
Oh yes! Vesemir is another example of worse face! Even the worst.

And the face is different, in this version she has smaller cheekbones, his nose and face are different too. His new face sometimes have wrinkles when she is talking and she looks older than Yennefer.
Triss looks the same to me, I did notice some different in Roche, but not enough that it really mattered to me.
Yup, that is the Triss I know and love. That is pretty much her TW2 design but in much higher quality.
Sword of Destiny might very well be the best trailer ever made for a game that never came out.
I would like to see Triss with her hair down like in TW1 or at least something different in the back. The double bun type thing isn't all that appealing to me.
The short answer is no. They didn't actually change as characters, they are just represented in a slightly different art style and with a different technology (more face muscles moving etc).
Putting their old versions into the game doesn't make sense and it would just create hardly fitting Frankenstein creatures.

Triss alternative look DLC... Could it be another face or only another skirt like with Yennifer?
I really like Triss' face, but offering an alternate look is alright. Yennefer got one so I guess Triss should as well. (Otherwise the Triss fans might riot

Triss and Ciri alternate look DLC was confirmed since the launch day (just look the files in Witcher 3 directory).
I'm just giving my opinion like a fan of the Witcher series, sorry if you don't like, but Triss will have at least an alternative outfit and you can't change that my dear.
Well to each his own, personally I welcomed the change of Triss' face. In the previous witcher games she looked older, more mature, and I'm not a great fan of that to be honest. I'm just not into milfs I guess lol.
