Do powerfull rigs have pop ins issue?

I play Witcher 3 on mediocre rig, so I dont have amazing perfomance, and I wanted to ask guys who have powerfull graphics cards, does pop ins occure to you to? To me it happens especially in Novigrad of course, how your rigs perform there?

Yup pop-ins happen to me as well, really wish they wouldn't. It especially happens in villages, and with bandits. One time i walked into a camp cus I though nobody was there. Then bam... 1000 bandits! lol.

i5 4.6ghz
GeForce 980 sc
16gb ram
Maximus vii mobo
ssd as well

I hope they fix the occasional NPC pop-in issue rather sooner than later. It's really weird to sometimes see NPCs appear out of nowhere like 3 meters in front of you.

I actually attacked once 3 bandit at once only to see how suddenly 4-5 of them just pop-out of nowhere to fight me.. really makes my evil plot of bandit slaughter hard :)

Once I walked into an inn and it was completely empty, it was in the evening hours and I was like "whaat, that's not right". Then turned around then back again and *boom* there you have an inn full of drunken bastards.

One of the last two patches introduced this. Must be the performance tweaks they mentioned, especially in cutscenes. I never had lag or sync issues but i heard some people did, so maybe they decreased the draw distance for cutscenes. Also notice some NPC pop in when I'm sprinting through a village with Roach.

You only really notice it when your looking i find, but it is pretty bad on ultra too. Though i havent got to Novigrad yet so cant comment, if you can try lower some settings to acommodate view distance.

I get something similar, like your looking in a forest/on the coast you turn to the left and back again and half of it is missing for a moment :D

occasionally yes, but not enough for me to have noticed. i'll pay more attention tho.

Haven't made it to Novigard yet, but the only example of this in the White Orchard area on my i5 4690K w/GeForce 970 SSC with GeForce Experience optimized settings (Plus Hairworks, need my Hairworks!) was on character on a dock across the river in the "T pose" till I got close enough for his idle animations to kick in.

RED Engine is obviously really good for a lot of things, but its streaming technology seems to lack a bit of polish.

I see it all the time, before 1.04 and after the patch.

The game is just full of glitches and problems unfortunately. :(

I had this happen (as far as I actually noticed) from the guards that guard the bridge into the Bloody Baron's fortress.

Yes, I have a phat rig and I just started getting a small bit of AI popping in when in cities...nothing game breaking, but annoying when it happens. Just started with the patch previous to the current one (current 1.04?...so started at 1.03 for me). I bet something they did when trying to optimize the ultra textures.
