Well, mss32.dll is from the sound driver, I updated it and now I can start the editor. The Witcher itself crashes agein, this time because of "kernel32.dll" - which is not in The Witcher-Folder but in WINDOWS.... maybe the Enhanced Edition needs Service Pack 2? (I've got SP3)@Weirdoh: Whcih Service Pack do you have installed?

just saw that the links for the english/us and english/eu is exactly the same. HEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!I don't know where my CD key is WTF is this ****** anyway??? I bought the game online, downloaded from this stupid metaboli downloader or whathaveyou, must have lost the email somehow.. I mean it's been a freakin year now..I freakin registered the game to freakin install it, isn't that enough?? I don't get this, now a year later I have no idea where the CD key is, and I can only hope the game itself saves it somewhere when you register it for the first time to install... help anyone!! what can I do??

you are not alone.....I originally ordered and downloaded it ages ago. I only have the email from the company with a link to metaboli via a company called GamesPlanet. You can look in your registry for the key.run - regeditHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECD Projekt RedThe Witcher if you registered the game it will show there....I have emailed the Company to try and get the key sent to me as I did not register the Game :wall:. I thought I ordered it from Atari but another company must of dealt with the download. email address for the service dept - serviceclient@gamesplanet.com -if that helps.

Just installed everything and played for about one hour. I must say you guys did an outstanding job!!You even upgraded the start menu with the crows and moving clouds!! The dialogues are much, much better andalso are the loading times! for everyone!!

help baddly needed here guys :I'm under Vista 32bits home premiumThe Witcher has always run fine, including patching to 1.3 and installing d'jinniI've downloaded (patiently) the new patch, french+english+polish language pack and the two 'new" adventuresWhen I launch the install, I've got the "an' givare" (??) pop-up, I enter my login and password I'm identified ok and I'm told to start the update to 1.4 (BTW I choose to install every element I've downloaded)It starts displaying the installation window and copying the files... BUT AFTER A FEW SECONDS VISTA POPS UP AND TELLS ME : " setup.exe

Can anyone think of a reason why the Fileshack TWEE_Upgrade file comes up as an UNKNOWN file type to my comp once it has finished downloading?? (running Visa 32)

Anyone have a problem where the file will download partially and then stop? My first attempt was 359mb, then 15mb, then 3.4mb and stops before reaching full download and each time I have to start over. I was wondering if anyone knows what causes this.

Fileshack has the EE upgrade, English language pack, and Side Effects module at http://www.fileshack.com/browse.x/4369 - Fileshack requires registration before downloading a file from the free servers. You will probably have to wait about 15 minutes for the server line, but the site has a great download speed. I recommend this one.Gamershell also has the EE upgrade, English language pack, Side Effects module, and The Price of Neutrality module at http://www.gamershell.com/news_60424.html No registration needed however their servers are probably pounded and won't give you a very good speed. Only seems to have European servers to select from right now.

Not sure if anyone else post this, but I found softpedia also have download link for the files.http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/speed is quite good for me 400k for me (I live in canada)you don't need registration to download

The fileshack download does not have an extension on it. SImply rename the file and add .exe to it and it solves the "unknown file type" issue.

when I am trying to download the german language pack it doesn't work. No Download window is opening and when I am trying to use a downloadmanager it says "wrong Username/Password"...

I made a torrent for the Twee.exe and english language patch (US versions) if anyone wants, I'll seed it for a few days if need be. ;P. Install was fine, but man the modifying of files was slow, heh.
