Dumbing down the RPG elements and conforming it to a larger audience has proven to work for BioWare and EA

Considering the lower sales of ME3 compared to 1 and 2, the vastly lower sales of DA2 then I have to wonder just how well it has worked for EA and Bioware.

It hasn't. That is the irony of the whole thing. Yet they stick to their guns.......

I love how this guy keeps mentioning Baldur's Gate at the start, and Dragon's Age: Origins later when talking about his work or the team's, but never ever mentions if they are responsible for DA2 too. So funny.

Indeed.

It's like he's trying to say "Hey hey i worked in good games see see i can do good things too!"

I would love if they don't fuck this up, but i'm not expecting anything and i won't be surprised if they do.

I love it. Sad but true, at least in Bioware's case. Also this:

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/category/371/index You gotta love the list of requested features when a Bioware game comes out.

My current favorite is "Dear Bioware, I want a Qunari woman in my bed"!

BSN is one of the most disturbing forums on the internet. Yet oddly compelling in a morbid fashion just because of it's consistent perversity.

This could be a fun game, though it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Scanning today:

"Cassandra's too Manly to be a Companion"

"Why do fangirls love Cullen so much?"

"Catfights between LIs"

I read BSN thread titles so you don't have to.

Still don't care. I don't have any confidence in this design team to understand what Dragon Age Origins fans liked about the game.

Does their direction honestly surprise you though? Look at the Alistair fan thread: Naked ridiculous picture after naked ridiculous picture.

They think that's what fans want and they are right...but only in regards to Biodrones. I dunno what's worse to do: Watch the third presidential debate ( WHICH btw gave me a strong headache ) or read BSN

EDIT: LOL at one of the articles btw:

DA2 opted for a fixed location - city of Kirkwall, mountain of Sundermount - and altered them through years of
