Then why would anyone ever buy it in the first place?

I'm not up in arms about it, given that my excitement level hasn't even gone past "eh", but it's annoying as hell to see this still being prevalent. Whatever, like I said, that moose thing can kiss my ass. It's just the principle of it all.

Well in one of the last streams there was a list with a ton of different mounts. They didn't show them but the list was very long so I won't get upset just for one mount. They also said there would be a lot of different kinds of mounts, not just horses and the occasional moose.

You folks realize that all those mounts will probably be re-skins of one base model, right?

Same horse, but in all the colours of the rainbow, ditto for the Halla, ditto for that lizard thing.

We can't pick or change the colour of our clothes in Skyhold. I'm not trusting them on the mount variety too much.

Which brings me back to the question of:

Who the hell would actually pay extra for this?

edit: Meh, the mount system is kind of silly anyways. The way the party magically pops back as if they were hiding inside it, lol. Just a tacked on feature, so variety or no variety, moose or no moose, I don't care.

I am still glad we can pick the colours. I want to ride a white horse when I am playing a good character and a black one for when I'm being evil. Just so everyone else knows.

I'd rather that it pops out of nowhere than the skyrim version where you have to go hunting for your horse after it runs away.

You can just summon yours if you have Arvak, and if not, just fast travel. Then there you go. The horse will automatically be there. I was referring to the rest of your party disappearing and reappearing.

As for who I follow, that's tumblr in general. Definitely not rare or hard to find. That and they sneak it in on you, lol. You follow them for maybe some cool Norse stuff, or some Elder Scrolls lore posts and pics. Next thing you know, they sneak porn or that crap in on your dash, lol. That's the Tumblr experience.

I don't like fast travelling and sometimes when you're exploring you can't fast travel. Not to mention that Arvel disappears whenever you get off so you have to change spells and it just feels clunky. I would prefer my invisible mount follows me tbh....

edit: Oh right! yeah I guess the party can't all fit on the poor horse and it would be weird to have them running behind... maybe someone will make a mod to give them a horse too but idk

lol true I had a lot of issues with weird posts when I was following a lot of anime blogs. Some of it was too explicit x__x

and thank you, I will follow them. I follow a few DA fans who reblog Cullen stuff but some of the art/text stuff I find really cringey and awkward lol. like that first image on her blog is a bit ¬_¬

I don't fast travel either, but back when I still used horses, I just waited or fast traveled somewhere close or to my exact location to get them to show up again.

Arvak I guess is kinda clunky. Unless you play on PC of course. But I'll take that and the horse walking off sometimes over what's shown on DA. Though Skyrim's horses are slow as fuck anyway, so why even bother. Unless you roleplay, which I do.

But whatever, a mounting system for a big world like this is better than none at all in DA I, so.

Even on PC it's clunky.
My horses in Skyrim are fast and they can gallop for a much longer period thanks to mods. Now I can actually gallop away from enemies if I can't be bothered to dismount to fight them

Iron Bull looks like a Diablo boss. I hate his small head and bull sized horns. I don't like any of the character designs. Outside Witcher and Dark Souls, I think most fantasy art in games sucks donkey balls.

Dark Souls is pretty good, but they've got the goofy ass big weapons, too. Skyrim had decent designs.

Iron Bull looks a bit too...bulky? Or something. And bull-like for me, but I do like how alien and strange they are to everyone else. Makes them more unique and I think it fits.

I preferred how they looked in DA 2 though. I thought that look was perfect. One of the few things DA 2 got right. But Iron Bull isn't that bad.

I'd say both are a vast improvement to Sten though.
