What do you mean exactly? It's Origin exclusive as has every EA title on PC for a while now.

In other news, I do have access to Inquisiton, but got it just before embargo. Will have a video before it comes out hopefully

Well the reviews all seem fairly positive which is good.
I'm glad I pre-ordered, i've got a great 3 day weekend to enjoy DA:I with, once it is released.

I'm still waiting for some more impressions, but so far it's looking like a game I should get next holiday season, when there's bound to be a deep discount on it.

My worries about certain aspects seem to have been confirmed - combat does not impress me, there's a lot of busywork and not a lot of substance when it comes to side activities. Building up power so I can send someone to do a mission that will give me stuff does not sound fun to me. The map reminds me of that of a Ubisoft game - a ton of random stuff to do, the only incentive to do it being that it gives you power points or w/e instead of, you know, being an interestng thing to do. ME3 had this, and I hated that. A few glimpses from the gamespot video review make me believe that some of the characters might be fun to interact with, so that's good. There seem to be some interesting story elements involving the PC being in charge etc. A mixed bag - so I think I'll wait, not the BioWare game to win me over again, but it looks like a good start.

German games magazine Gamestar gives DAI a worse rating than DA2 - at the same time conceding that they terribly over-rated DA2 ;D

DA2 was a vacuous turd. Thankfully, Inquisition is looking much more like a game I'll be willing to purchase once the inevitable stream of nickel and dime DLC trickles to a halt.

Do any of the reviews say anything about the potential replay value of DA:I?

http://kotaku.com/11-things-you-should-know-about-dragon-age-inquisitio-1657127952 this is a pretty interesting read. The guy mentions that the game is better than DA2 and he prefers it to Origins.

the above article mentions that the guy is replaying it again to make different choices before he reviews the game properly, so i'd say that's sounding replayable.

I don't know. Reviews might be great and all, but since gaming journalism has pretty much 0 credibility in my eyes, they are immediately discarded. I've watched raw footage online and so far all I've seen is fetch quests, bad writing and shitty animations. This is in no way my final judgement on the game however.

It was diabolically bad.

I am afraid you will never purchase DA:I then :D

The same guys who posted that Iron Bull video posted a very positive overview about the game.

I've watched numerous "impression" videos recently and it just looks fucking awful (And that's with the youtuber/s gushing over how "amazing" it is).

Animations, Facial Expressions, Writing, Combat, Cutscenes all just looks outright terrible. Fetch quests galore and pretty meh Music from what we've heard.
Graphics look okay, but nothing incredible, that's about the best praise I can muster for it.

I've even tried really hard to clear my recent hatred of BioWare and look at this game with a clean slate, but still I just can't find anything to love about the game, it just looks terrible. Just my opinion though.

And yet a 970 can't even hold the game at 60 on max settings.

Well the game can be good. They were just joking about the terrifyingly cringy writing style Bioware has. At least in regards to love.

Yeah, it's a tricky one for me in that - much like the Wild Hunt - I really don't want to be spoiled on a game that I might end up playing.
