Thanks for all the feedback, folks! It looks like people are confirming that I made the right choice by not purchasing the game. While I was hoping the game would deliver something I'd enjoy playing (more games is better!) my first impression was correct: this game is just not for me.
I suppose there won't anything related to Oghren, because he is awesome, and I find dwarves awesome, except Varric, he is could be cool as human but not as dwarf, because he lacks dwarf's stubborn badassery like Legion of The Dead ot Gimli in Lord of the rings books .

Problem is the game's not too consistent, and the pacing from the beginning of it was a mess. They needed something in the beginning to break up the dreariness. I guess they thought collecting party members would do it, but that didn't, really. If you really want me to make a statement of my opinion, I'd say that it's better than Dragon Age 2 at least.I think i'm fourteen or so hours in. Will get accurate number when I start playing again.

Also, fixed "issue" with my sword hilts. They're not glitched, the game just requires you to put grips on yourself. I like this. You can build and customize your own blades and weapons. Even bows and staffs.

@Princess_Ciri, also... I love Dorian :lol: Dorian is the man, and his being gay hasn't even come up yet. No Bioware pandering or life lessons on that front. He's a cool character. Vivienne is as well.

I'm not gonna tell anyone to buy or not buy it at this point. I think it's clear that I won't be able to say until I've beaten it, though I'm sure others will probably think right now that they can say for sure. 18 hours in according to Origin, though at least two of that's probably from me leaving the screen paused.
Found Merril. She's not a dumb ass anymore, and matured a good bit. Seems more like an adult, rather than a girl.
Still not up to the point where apparently shit gets amazing.... or so I've been told. I guess look forward to that.

Yeahhhhh this is why despite downloading being "faster" I went with a physical copy from Amazon. At least that way I don't need to download the entire game.
@Princess_Ciri That point comes at different times for different people. Some people said they didn't reach it till 20 hours in. Somebody reported they reached it in 12 hours. It probably depends on how sidetracked you get.
That figures. I'm guessing once you've collected all your companions and get past the first part of the story things start to happen.
Indeed they do. And now I don't mind doing these side tasks. Some actually proved to be kind of interesting. One of them had a very awesome Lady of the Lake moment.
Did your Inquisitor say anything like: "My Lady, your ass puts others to shame"?
