the game looks good and I'm really happy, especially after the disappointment of DA2!

GamerSyde is the place to go, but you will have to wait for them to upload it. It usually takes a day.Does anyone know where to find an uncompressed version of the video?
While that's true, I think that TW2's environments trailer did a much better job than that of DA:I, while keeping a distinct single player RPG feel.Well, MMOs have a habit of teasing with "world" trailers. That's not an usual thing for RPG.
There is a leaked 30 minute video which is just gameplay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IML4hhg8Yz0Well that trailer looks much better than the cartoonishly oversized weapons we saw before. It does look kind of cool, but then again, it tells us nothing about the actual game, motivations, mechanics, reactivity, etc.
I am under the impression Bioware will lean towards the action side of things, with free roaming and so on and so forth. Like ReptilePZ said, it looks like an MMO mostly because they focus so much on the landscape. Like a freaking tourist board commercial. "Visit Ferelden, now with less Hawkes".
The internets need for immediate reaction mixed with new medias hitcounter fetish accelerating the inevitable over-reaction to epic proportions, is what. What happened to the good old days when devs released honest, unedited gameplay footage?
Yeah I agree with Reptile. The MMO vibe is really off putting. Especially after playing Dragons Dogma and Kingdoms of Amalur. I'm so tired of that grinding MMO-turned-singleplayer, shit game design. There's been no indication that's the route BioWare is taking the game design but ugh. Anything that reminds of Dragons Dogma and Kingdoms of Amalur just sends the wrong message to me. Those were two generic, dull, boring, uncreative and unoriginal games that had the audacity to pad their already lackluster combat with mindless grinding. If Dragon Age 3 is ANYTHING like those, I'm skipping this one so hard.Yep, I agree with Luxorek - definitely looks much better than their previous titles, though the environments still feel too MMO-esque, and the trailer itslef had that vibe too, which I didn't like. Good to see them step up their game, though.
If you've read any of my posts on this forum, then you'd know that I most definitely would be saying the same if CDPR released a similar trailer. Although, their environmental design is far better than anything we've seen from DA:I.Oh stop it, there is no MMO vibe there. What if CDPR made a similar video? I bet it wouldn't be offputting then, right? Maybe the devs are simply just proud of their work and want to show it to us?
Not sure about the design, Fandango, but I relate, though maybe from a different direction - just the sheer amount of negativity I feel showered with every time I enter those forums. Maybe it's not as prevalent in the DA section, but I'm disappointed every time I drop in to the ME forums, where negative threads seem to always be on the main page, alive and kicking. It's a disease that I hope won't infect this community - though while in the BioWare forums it appears to be negativity focused inwards, Witcher forums sometimes are smeared with (intense) negativity aimed outwards, at many different games and companies that differ from Witcher and CDPR.Just as an aside - and forgive me if this isn't the right place to be asking the question - but is anyone else not liking the new Bioware forums a bunch? I mean, it may just be me, but the amount of pony avatars, sexuality trumpeting banners and saccharine conversations seems to have increased since the redesign.

Aye, that negativity is of Biowares own making I'm afraid. Not fun for those who enjoyed their more recent offerings for sure, but that's what happens when you make Mac - go big or go home - Walters your lead writer.
