As far as we know, the Dragon is one of the boss monster Geralt will face, together with a Succubus, the Draug and the Tentadrake.JaSkIeR3 said:Hey guys,I am actually a new member on these forums.. I am curious if you guys think that dragons might be in the game or not?

My mistake.szypek26 said:Succubus's not a bossAbout dragon - we're not sure about whether this location + boss have reached final version of TW2. It's very likely, but can't be sure.
So you never played DAO, I suppose. Right? ;-)szypek26 said:I do not think dragons are important -- and they are CLICHE since a very long time [about 1000 years at least] I myself do not think that in all rpg in medieval settings, dragons are a must
True. I'm pretty sure those little monsters can fly. I remember in TW1, wyverns would come down from the sky sometimes. If there are dragons, I wouldn't mind of course.BoreasMunbg said:It could be a wyvern and the guards just exaggerating, most humans do.
That'll be Villentretenmerth. But don't base your judgement on that fact. After all, in the same story, we learn of Geralt's vow to never fight a dragon. And if there is one in the game, and he fights it, you have a contradiction right there. It might be a really big wyvern, or even a dracolizard or a fortail. Though it looked suspiciously like a rock dragon to me.TSM said:but they are definately part of the Witcher world from what I understand. If you recall in the first game I think Dandilion alluded to the fact that Geralt was friends with one.
Let's say that dragons are a fave in fantasy universe ;-)TSM said:I dunno the dragons name, The only two books available here atm are Blood of Elves and Last Wish. Also would Geralt remember that vow now though or would he honour if he considered it not to be the best course of action any more.I dunno Im just speculating. I guess dragons are a fave in many games because they appear in so many cultures and are often considered by many to be the biggest baddest creature out there in many mythologies - or game universe cultures if you prefer.
agreed. unless they reinvent it. perhaps make it look more like a worm rather than the traditional silly bat wing thing.TW-fan-BG said:I do not think dragons are important -- and they are CLICHE since a very long time [about 1000 years at least] I myself do not think that in all rpg in medieval settings, dragons are a must
