As for Cecil's Dream, he dreamed of a promise that he made to his sister that he would stay sober for the rest of his life, something that the dwarves consider disgraceful and shameful to their honor (which I personally find very awesome! More Beer, friend!) but a dwarf's promise is a dwarf's promise and revealing that secret would have caused some troubles for the people of Vergen, even with Henselt's army besieging them.
