Suggestion?
  • Augmented Real Time GPS Path in 3d Space
  • Zoom the map back 2x when driving (why users cannot set their own zoom level idk why this isnt a thing)
Anyone else?

Yeah there should be a way to zoom out the mini map.

Someone in another thread had an idea for a dynamic minimap that zooms out the faster you go. Sounded good to me.

On the other hand, missing a turn aint so bad, except maybe in the badlands cause it's boring to look at, but at least its relatively flat and you can just drive anywhere. I like looking at the city, so I mostly just point myself in the direction I need to go and gun it. If I make it there now or later doesnt bother me much.

Worst thing is the game already has waypoints on the road in the races, so why isn't it in the main game? Boggles the mind!

My ideas are

1. make the minimap a bit bigger when you mount the vehicle (this is how is done in GTA)
2. when approaching a turn of the gps line, have the minimap flash yellow so I know when to look at it to see which way to turn

both seems easy fix

well that is fine for a race but it would be annoying the same as it will just make the driving from staring the minimap all the time to staring the guiding holo all the time.

I just want to have fun driving and look at the city and occasionally check the minimap when I need to turn. A bigger minimap and a warning flash when to turn would really help the navigation

A larger minimap would certainly be quite usefull for driving around indeed.
However it should be something that can be increased/decreased in size as needed if you were to ask me.

Customizable HUD scale should be a thing in every game IMO

Yes indeed, but like any other HUD elements, it comes from your tech and cyberware. Like the Ammo counter. Gotta be legal or kinda you know. More on that later with your local fixer and the black market.
So when you drive NC at 150 MPH im pretty sure "designer" behind it didn't inted a racing usage inside cities.
Around 70/80 MPH navigation is still fluid and without much difficulty neither

But now that the lore question is closed, yes it's kinda frustrating sometime but hey, drive a bit more slower and enjoy Night City.
They did such amazing job on it. Like i imagined it when playing tabletop RPG
