Dubstep videos you love to watch and/or listen to

I'm a fan of the dubstep genre, and whilst there's alot of crap out there, you sometimes find a gem worth noting.

Here's what I found recently:
Skrillex - First of the year
This video is so sweet, and the music suits it perfectly IMO - reminds me of the old Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy video!

What's your newest discovery, all-time favorite or other nice finds in this genre?

Well, I come from the older school, where the part "dub" actually meant something more than just WOB WOB WOB bass :)

I love stuff from one of the originators of the dubstep genre - Horsepower Productions, I suggest diggin deeper into their stuff, definitely worth it! Also - the videos are sick!

Yeah dub music is very nice!! .. VERY nice track you posted, so sweet!!!
I seriously don't know why dubstep is called "dub"step - it got nothing to do with dub except that it runs in a slow tempo beat-wise (around 140 BPM, but only a snare hit in the middle of the bar - so it sounds like 70 BPM) ..
But I still love dubstep very much for what it is, loads of bass combined with a slow beat and weird fx.. :)

Well, that's actually why it is called "dub"step - mostly bass, percussion and playing with fx :)

Ah, dubstep, it seems to be the thing these days. I am not that good with genres, though, does The Glitch Mob count? Because I love them to pieces. (sorry, I don't think they ever made a real music video)

In terms of genres, Glitch Mob represents something called "glitch hop". Sounds like a mix of hip hop beats, dubstep glitchy bass plus some new wave/electro stuff too.

First, a disclaimer: I'm aware that there are two dubsteps, one that Skrillex falls under and is incredibly inclusive, and another that he doesn't fall under and is limited to wubs and empty frequencies and reserved for the uber (anal retentive) fans. I'm going to recommend songs based on the first definition, so none of that "oh that's not dubstep I would know I've listened to it before it was cool blah blah blah" garbage, capisce?

M'Black - Heartbreak (Bare Noize Remix)
Deadmau5 - Raise Your Weapon (Noisia Remix)
Lea Luna - Hearts Under Fire (Bare Remix)
Nero - Innocence (actually a video)
Nero - Guilt
Mishal Moore - It Ain't Over (Document One Remix)
Borgore, Adi Ulmansky - Someone Else's (Document One Remix)
The Weeknd - High For This (Trypt Remix)
Skrillex - Kill Everybody (Bare Noize Remix)
Gemini - Blue
Dev - In The Dark (Trypt Remix)
Stephen Walking - Light Pollution
Freestylers - Cracks (Flux Pavilion Remix)
Jamiroquai - Blue Skies (Flux Pavilion Remix)
Talay Riley - Sergeant Smash (Roksonix Remix)
TMS, Jagga - I Need You (actually a video)

Ok, I'll probably be burned at the stake for saying this... but I really do not care for like 95% of dubstep. That being said, there are a few decent artists. One of my favorites in this genre (even though not all their stuff is dubstep) is Mt Eden Dubstep. Here are a few of their songs:

Omen

Sierra Leone

And a couple more by the same artist:

Found this artist recently: Klaypex

That song I linked to has been stuck in my head ever since. Please, someone tell me if you figure out the lyrics. I keep hearing "fishy" and telling myself that it's impossible.

More songs:

Borgore - I Don't Wanna Die (Hollywood Undead remix)
Borgore ft. Diplo - Sunsets
Tinie Tempah feat. Ellie Goulding - Wonderman (Bare Noize Remix)
Diddy - Dirty Money - Ass On The Floor (Gemini Remix)
Laid Blak - Red (Chasing Shadows Remix)
Brown & Gammon - Disappear
Oh Land - Sun Of A Gun (Jacob Plant Remix)
Pendulum - The Island (Statelapse Remix)
Frankee - Scream Your Dream
Statelapse - Waiting
InContext - Show You ft. Jessica Poole (Dubba Jonny remix)

Burned at the stake? Never, we're civilized around here. A savage beating should suffice.

Funny story about The Prodigy: I saw them in concert awhile back and they ran around screaming profanity and playing something that vaguely resembled music, but it was so distorted (bad distortion, like everything was clipping) that it was unrecognizable. At one point the lead "singer" told everyone in the mosh pit to put their hands in the air and they were so fed up that the entire mosh pit flipped him off simultaneously while ignoring his directions. It was a beautiful moment.

It'd be fair to say that I've had little to no respect for that band ever since, but even they deserve better than to have someone come along, slap a simple sine bass and a couple other weak elements on top of their song, and pass it off as a dubstep remix. It's even in the same key as the original song. The whole thing seems incredibly lazy remix-wise.

And this is why I do not like 95% of dubstep Most use the same formula for pretty much every song. I prefer a bit more creativity in music. But there are always exceptions!

Edit: P.S. Sometimes less is more! Take the song Saeglopur for example. It's not an overly complex remix. It's more of a simple, elegant remix that still manages to sound amazing.

I don't have a problem with simple remixes, just with the fact that taking something popular and adding a few things on top seems more like theft than a proper remix. The parts they added to that Omen remix aren't even properly mastered—hell, it sounds like nothing but the drums were even compressed.

It'd be like if I bought a famous painting, threw one or two new brushstrokes onto the canvas, then turned around and called it my own. There's a level of originality/effort that most remixes have that in this case is sorely lacking, and that's so rare that I've never actually been bothered by it in any other remix.

Edit: By the way, I hit -1 on your post when it just said something about less is more. Given the context and my large previous post, it came off pretty snarky. Obviously that wasn't how you had intended it, but it was too late by the time you had actually edited it again and finished your thought.

No hard feelings  I tend to do that a lot when I post on forums. It's a bad habit, I know... But that is how my thought process works. I see the complete picture in my mind and that doesn't always translate well to my actual forum post. This then leads to multiple edits and mass confusion!
