Dungeons of La Vallette Help

Hey guys I am new to the Witcher and Witcher 2 is the only one I have. I am at the part "Dungeons of La Vallette" and I need some help.

I have got to Aryan and talked to him and now he is sitting down until I clear the way. There is no where to go from here.

I backtracked and when back to my cell and nothing came up. I went up those stairs and there was a guard and a locked door, but nothing else. I went back down the stairs and through the side door that leads down that hole and you can climb over the wall to the Scribe and Executioner and killed both of them, nothing happened. And I went through the door of that room back to Aryan, and still nothing.

Every guard is stunned or dead, I collected every item I saw, and still nothing. Please help me.

The wiki did not help me cause it was not in-depth.

There should be a door leading upstairs in that room where Aryan is sitting. If you go there, you should see more guards and eventually find Shilard talking to somebody (varies depending on your choices).

Once you clear the way you should go back to Aryan and carry him, and he will lead you to a room full of barrels of oil.

One door heads back the way I came, the other leads to the Executioner room, the other has a man behind it yelling stuff at me.

Map of La Valettes' dungeon:

Aryan sits on the floor at the room above door number 9. You should be able to go through the door on the left, the one that lets you reach point 14.

In that area, take care of every guard to clear the way. Then go back and get Aryan and he will take you to point 14.

Maybe you missed a guard, maybe you need a key to open a gate or maybe this is a bug. I haven't played in a while so I can't remember exactly.

I completely missed that door. Not the first time in this game. Sometimes things can be hard to find in this game - so far.

Don´t be sorry dude. i have this very issue due to a tv that t´was darker... (i.e. a door in ninja gaiden black, batman arkham assylum [i quit playing it because it was so dark... until a friend came to my place and make the light]... God of War 2, prince of persia 2).

Check your bright configuration in your tv.

It was more of me not paying close(r) attention. It was such a small doorway in my opinion.
