Dying Night Glitch

+
im on xbox and found a weird glitch im max level and street cred just finishing some gigs i picked up the dying night pistol from a drop point in the H10 building and it had the yellow quest marker on it

now its just stuck in my inventory cant drop it stash it or sell it i can use it and upgrade it but it won’t go away

any fix for this or am i just stuck with it forever
thanks

PC version also...It's stuck with a quest marker..I back to the game after almost 5 years...So much I could notice, that the M-10AF Lexington version is as basis(normal) weapon...And Dying Night* is not possible to move or sell...At all it's a nice Pistol, maybe that is the reason, have to keep (stuck) them in inventory for ever ;) But player choice destroy this decision...In any case, they are called quest markers without justification...One *(not quest marker) would be lovely to understand ;) Maybe it's a rest of game engine possibility to warn the players(I can understad it). And I will be very happy if someone can answer me (us).
I apologize if I missed other discussions related to this weapon and please redirect me to the relevant topic :) Greetings!!!

In theory, Dying Night should loose it's quest icon after completing the quest during which you acquire it > The Gun
If it doesn't loose its quest icon, well it's a bug and obviously, not intended.

So I understand there's no way to bypass this error? Well, I guess I'll (all of us) just have to be patient or take it as a good explanatory information and accept it ;) In my opinion, the game's creators have done a lot of good work! (Past the last 5 years...) And I think looking for such an error is just too difficult and a waste of time ;/ Sure it's like looking for a needle in a haystack ;) Thank you very much for your answer! :)

I think it's possible, if you're on PC, to use a save editor in order to remove the quest flag on a specific item. On console, no, sadly there is no way :(
I think it's an issue inherent to Red Engine and more annoying, quite random... If I remember correctly, I almost always finished The Witcher 3 with one (or more) of the countless quest items that didn't lose its quest marker/flag and therefore remained stuck in my inventory (meaning it's the kind of issue that most likely, CDPR will never manage to fix for good)
