One journalist giving his thoughts on The Witcher 3 demo said that he tried to ask about CP2077 but guys from CDPR were very very tightlipped about it.

All they could say was (quote) "It's fucking awesome!"

That statement actually says quaite a lot about the state of development.

They didn't say "It's going to be fucking awesome!" This means that they are already hard at work and probaby waist deep in prototyping. And for the guys that have produced the whole The Witcher series to say something is FUCKING awesome, well. They must have made some massive changes to the Red3 engine to accomadate '77.

Now I think about it, reading that statement made me content for about 2 minutes. Now all it's doing is raising my expectations...

I just hope they move away from the nvidia-specific tech for 2077. That kind of exclusive stuff is always a middle finger.

It is, a bit, and generally I don't miss it. I've had ATI the last two gens and enjoyed them thoroughly. That said, I have no consumer loyalty to large businesses at -all- and will happily try the new Nvidia stuff if it's better.
