I don't expect much from the announcement really. Best case scenario (ideal): TW3 is coming for Linux (and that was the reason for the delay) and GOG releases open source incremental updater client. (like Desurium). Worst case scenario: GOG announces support for Android games and / or releases closed incremental updater.
First are really breaking news, second are GOG catching up to competitors like the Humble Store and Steam without innovating anything revolutionary.

You mean done in a similar manner? Probably. But this one is a day earlier.
We have no idea what they will show. Might be b-roll from earlier showings, might be a live demo, who knows. I guess we'll see when it happens.

My personal guess is that they'll show a narrated trailer with gameplay and in-game scenes on June 5th,
and an extended gameplay demo at E3.
The last behind-closed-doors demo was a walkthrough of a village quest,
so I expect this one to be similar but more spectacular.
