Well? Was it what you hoped for?

  • Yes! God(s) yes! Onwards to GLORY! Cyberglory! And waffles.

  • Yes! Not enough to say yet but still happy. Show me more!

  • Pretty much. Need more info before rapture sets in, though.

  • Close-ish, but missing features I really want. Going to be an issue.

  • Not really. I'll play it maybe, but not what I wanted.

  • Dammit! Huge let down. May go cyberpsycho. I blame you Sard.

Character appearance and general cosmetic customization aside, I certainly hope we're not set up with one career path.

Also, God damn, it's been a long time since I posted here.

I just watched E3 and I got to say,

OMG, OMG, OMG, I AM SO EXCITED! HYPE, HYPE, HYPE!

Now that that's out of the way, I wanted to say I missed you guys.. A lot actually. Several times a day really, and I did say I would come back after the trailer is released, so I am back baby and I am here to stay. (hopefully)

Wait so the main character is set in stone? Dissapointed. Deeply.

There is absolutely no indication of that. Think of Mass Effect, trailer always shows male Shepard, but you can create your own character. It is done like this mostly because it is easier this way.

YES. SO MUCH PUNK. Very important.

Everyone, this is an Excitement Trailer! It looks great but for systems and whatnot, notice NOTHING is shown. Nothing.

So avoid assumptions.

I'd probably write something about the trailer but my inner fanboy is too busy crawling up walls to let me type more than:
OMGYES5FCKINYEARSMADEWORTHIN90SECONDSHOLDMEMOM!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like i should get some credit for pushing for the PUNK in that trailer cause that is what ive been banging on about for the past 6 years on this forum. =)

I actually prefer the darker setting with neons, it feels less... cartoony? Idk how to describe it. That said, I'm trusting CDPR.

Also, I'd be sad to loose the ability to make my own character, but I'm not opposed to the idea of a set protagonist, as long as it's done as well as Geralt.

Thought it was gonna be a lot darker. Disappointed. This isn't good be a good game I can tell already. Its like the Disney version of the Cyberpunk I wanted.

The art style, the world, just how alive and varied everything looks is amazing. Can't wait to see more about it.

However one thing I read, we are playing a set protag now?

In the info it says:

"Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future — Night City. You play as V, a hired gun on the rise, who just got their first serious contract. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend. "

That is disappointing if it's set, I thought one of the main things about Cyberpunk was that we were going to be able to make our own characters now, play the class we want to. Cyberpunk has so many wildly different and varied classes and characters it would suck to be forced into playing a set protag.

I hope it's at least like Mass Efffect, and "v" is simply a name and we are able to customize and make our own character, male or female, their looks, and actually roleplay them how we want.
