Regarding the whole minimap thing, Lilayah's Cat on the Discord (a moderator who saw the private 50m demo) confirmed that the minimap is based on what augmentations you have.

Nice, I was hoping the HUD was implemented via augments, and maybe gear Dead space style.

No more childhood heroes choice:
Actually, it doesn't affect me as I was gonna choose Johnny Silverhand (trying to stay as close to a Rockerboy as the games allow to...) but clearly for other people, considering now that we've seen which impact it has on the game, being able to choose Arasaka or Morgan would have given a whole different feel to the game.

I don't know if this is real, but if it is...

EDITED - It's real alright: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/c05qw8/_/er9n6tj

EDIT - Also this:

I agree with Mr. Pondsmith and I'm glad to see him voice his opinions on these matters. This outrage towards Cyberpunk is misplaced and even ill-intentioned.

It's a bummer but I understand why they did it. The new Lifepaths seem like less complex but also more meaningful alternatives.

Loving this, I guess the sleek, "clean" look of the first CGI trailer is very much still in. Here's hoping it's something our "V" can sport

As someone planning to play the "Ex-corp" lifepath, with the plan to romance Stout and live happily ever after, I'm totally looking forward to this style :D

I don't know if anyone posted that here, but I found this interview with Alvin Liu really interesting.

it seems like the Lifepaths are going to have a large impact on the game and even weapon related skills might unlock a new dialogue options.

Everyone is arguing about apartments here.
Meanwhile at CDPR:

“You can be one of the nomads as a player and you can start there, being part of a family of the Nomads,” Sasko explained. “You could call them a tribe that is living in cars and they’re just driving over Badlands."
So multiple starting points depending on your lifepath confirmed I guess? If true, for me this is THE news about the game this year so far.

So the stats are
-Body
-Intelligence
-Reflexes
-Tech
-Cool
Wait...we had 6 stats :(

They could still merge tech with int and ref with body.

Then there’dve three stats Intelligence, Body and Cool. All bases covered.

The less the better. Right?

If they pushed the thing enough, that's almost like they added one of the missing role: You get the family and the car, that's almost everything to the role specificity.
Not something that interest me, but at least Nomads fans can rejoice a little.
