Thanks, I remember this guy from E3 last year, he did a great interview then as well.
Not his opinion on the game, his attitude towards others here. Huge difference.
But anyway, we should talk about the game again.
Seeing Geralt in the gameplay demo riding on his horse I think it would be a great idea to be able to bind his swords to the saddle while riding. That would require just four animations for getting on and off the horse and drawing the sword and putting it away but it would add a lot to the atmosphere. And you would also avoid clipping while riding.

Don't forget that budget for the game and marketing was much lesser too, but it's off to compare the two for many reasons.

In the interview he said they are working on horizon popping. Thank god i hate games with popping on them. Watch Dogs had horrible draw distance and popping.

Anyway i'm wondering how long more before we can get more new info. I think we'll have to wait till Gamescom for some new info. Maybe. But overall the Sword of Destiny trailer did made me shat on my pants.

Be at one with the crossbow be at peace. Are you Geralt? So in your 70-100 years you have been alive, you mean to tell me you have never used a crossbow more then for hunting one deer and you had one training session learning how to block that's it?

Cloaks would work then, maybe that is another surprize with a horse up-grade!
Well, my personal opinion and yuo will hate me by it:
CDPR were the main responsable to introduce me Sapkowki's books cause the Witcher. If it wasn't for the games I'd never heard about them. Now, a few years later, after hearing them saying they would make a closer gameplay to Geralt's character I'm here seeing footage that seems to get far away from the lore, The same Witcher they made me discover and love.
So, yes, as a Witcher follower I feel disappointed but at the same time as a CDPR's follower I feel proud for their work and creativity. So yes, my heart is sadly happpy. Is it difficult to understand that? That's what I will wait till next February impatiently

It's a fictional character that is an iconic melee fighter. Real life logic does not apply here. It's fiction we're talking about. I don't see Batman carrying around a rifle because he might need it.
I feel exactly the same with the one difference that I knew and read some of the witcher novels even before Witcher 1.

Well, maybe Geralt can make his horse spit bolts then
Already attached on the head, right between the ears, for better aiming.
Why not go further, place a chicken on the horse's head, for better stability, and attach it on the chicken.
Anyways, I don't mind the crossbow, as long as they don't force me to use it.
I like Jose, he's my favourite RED guy now in E3. Passionate, but not overselling things.
