Do people really sharpen their swords standing up or do they let ths sword rest on their knee, the latter is more realistic I think.Well, just like whetstones in W1 worked, even more convincing than that video (which reminds me of a pick up line "Hey girl, I have a huge spear for you to polish.." :troll![]()
Sounds a bit like the swamp quest style of TW1 has crept in; get a snippet of info, run to the next person; get more info and run back to the original person. Rinse and repeat. I can see why several viewers have brought it up. TW2 eschewed this type of structure almost entirely. But it's just one quest in a huge game so I'm not worried. The supposedly awkward dialog I'd have to hear for myself to judge. It's far too subjective. Depth in combat is something I'm pretty sure they didn't focus on in the demo, so I doubt they delved into alchemy, oils, character tree etc. TW2 would seem simplistic too if you didn't show all that. All the other niggles seem fair and stuff that can be fixed/polished before launch.Rock, Paper, Shotgun posted a really well observed wrap-up of their experience with the Witcher 3 demo from E3. Worth reading imo

They pretty much share my worries and they semm to be really honest in their analysis, both positive and negativ aspects included. Well done.
Mind elaborate? Unless it was irony. Then I will you an oren or someting.Rock, paper, shotgun is notorious for agenda pieces. RPG community knows this.
Touche, a plus for the knee resting goes to MH, but a plus for Witcher 1 goes for more than one second swipe of the stone on the swordDo people really sharpen their swords standing up or do they let ths sword rest on their knee, the latter is more realistic I think.
Also W3 has a lot of learn from a game like MonsterHunter really, art direction excluded.
Maybe the fetch quest had a higher purpose on the writting side. Could you please stop with these made-up generalizations or are they supposed to be funny?Rock, paper, shotgun is notorious for agenda pieces. RPG community knows this.
"There are still plenty of brothels – Ah, The Witcher’s balancing act between a desire for “mature” depictions of sex and an almost juvenile fixation on it continues"Could you please stop with these made-up generalizations or are they supposed to be funny?
On the article: I suggest you read the disclaimer before posting such ridiculous stuff that the article had an agenda. It's clearly stated that the article is about the few things that worried the author and not about his general assessment of Witcher 3. The author gave his feedback what could or should be improved in the game . That's actually a good thing and no "agenda piece" if you guys even know what that actually means...
Could you please leave this community if you obviously aren't able to write in a polite and respectful manner? This premature insulting language shouldn't be allowed here, sorry."Environmental interaction is apparently a big focus – CD Projekt claims that it always wants to offer you some sort of environmental option in most encounters to add extra oomph to your combat arsenal. During the demo, I saw bee hives you could knock from trees and explosive objects you could tickle into combustive laughter with a few light sparks from Geralt’s fire spell. However, there was then a bit where the presenter tried to burn away some path-blocking roots with said fire spell and it didn’t work, which didn’t even make sense to him. So these things aren’t entirely consistent yet."
What a fucking moron
I have as much right to be here as you, It's an 18+ game, if you can't handle the banter you leaveCould you please leave this community if you obviously aren't able to write in a polite and respectful manner? This premature insulting language shouldn't be allowed here, sorry.
You have every right to be here if you stick to the forum rules. Using strong and insulting language is against those rules. Simple.I have as much right to be here as you, It's an 18+ game, if you can't handle the banter you leave

And using strong language is no sign of being an adult, quite the opposite.
The main problem with that is that it would bite them in the ass really hard. What about giving different game modes to players ? Like SIGNIFICANTLY different.
They can even sell it if it's that complex to make it and that financially consuming as seperate dlc and I would gladly buy it.I know that CD Projekt is all against small dlcs but there is problem:
Yeah, the anti-DLC policy is one of the trademarks of CDRP, that would be like shooting in the foot. The main problem with that is that it would bite them in the ass really hard.
What would the hardcore fans think when they get:
A dumbed down game for casuals AND if they wanted that hardcore experience they had to BUY Day 1 DLC.
The fans would hate their guts.
What is this 'Evolve' anyway?Witcher 3 is on 2nd position in the favslist voting for best game on E3 2014. Let's bring it to #1 guys....

Who said that? Exciting."Keep your eyes peeled for tons more Witcher 3 info in the coming days. I somehow managed to spend nearly an entire day of E3 at CD Projekt’s booth, so yeah. This is only the beginning"
I hope info wouldn't stop till we get our hands on the game!."Keep your eyes peeled for tons more Witcher 3 info in the coming days. I somehow managed to spend nearly an entire day of E3 at CD Projekt’s booth, so yeah. This is only the beginning"
Great. More stuff in following days.
I hope that they announce that we can buy that awesome pewter statue they gave away at E3 somewhere soon. I definitely want one and I would pay good money for it."Keep your eyes peeled for tons more Witcher 3 info in the coming days.
