I don't know. To me it looked like a generic last gen fps.

Offtopic (sorry):

Last-gen, next-gen, this stuf has no significance on PC. Not at all. It's ridiculous how all the console gamers have become graphics fetishists lately after they were satisfied with 720p/30FPS games for many years often claiming that the difference to PC wouldn't be that big anyway... :p

In the end, serious gamers care about whether a game is fun and engaging or not and not whether it offers fancy graphics at resolution X and framerate Y or not. Good graphics are nice to have but actually say nothing about the quality of a game. ;)

And generic? Show me even two real tactical co-op FPS that were released in the last 5-10 years...this is no new CoD or Battlefield...

YES and NO. Yes it does seem rather silly to high-light a no brainer wall to climb. But then again some people are really stupid and might need this to help them see. I can forgive the bright blood and sounds visuals in this mode but even this is a little much for my taste. But maybe that was harpy seamen on that wall who knows??? LOL..

Oh never mind it's just RAVEN shit and a lot of it.;)

lol Well as long as they have an option to turn that off.

You do know that you probably can do the game without the Witcher sens? If you don't like it, don't use it, just like for the crossbow ;)

I totally agree with if you, if you don't like it, don't use it thing. But i will use Witcher sens because in my eyes it makes seance. But having it highlight things like ladders and the sort i really don't want that. For me Witcher senses scenes things that are organic. Even thou the plants hanging are technically organic but still you know what i mean. ;)

Yeah I understand your point. It just doesn't bother me I guess, I think it makes sense, showing everything useful.

But yeah, being able to choose what you see in witcher sens would be the best option.

Yeah true Gearlt does not need to be in witcher freak mode to find a ladder lol..
But I'm talking about the anoying little white arrows that point to things like loot or that little hole/cave jonny was in.
I look at it like this.. if devs have to have stuff like that in the game for all the tarded people and new smart people just to point shit out.
Why can't it all be seen in just that witcher freak/sense mode so that the little white arrows and hand symbols pointing to your victims loot cannot be seen on screen all over the place.

Do you have an example. In what part of the demo that happens?

DEMO #4 The last one in the swamps look real close he might already be in freak mode but I don't think so:(
You can see the same loot hand symbols from TW2 but they are white now and a little smaller and they also have these little whit arrows that point at the blood and at the cave/hole jonny was in.

Witcher 3 preview based on E3 on Polygon:

http://www.polygon.com/a/e3-2014/the-witcher-3-the-wild-hunt

Konrad nailed it:
To game director Tomazkiewicz, it's like making the real Witcher game for the first time.

"In my opinion," says Tomazkiewicz, "There is no Geralt without Ciri and Yennefer."

Wow, some info in that one I have no read before. Spoilerish info, beware. Although I wonder if it is accurate.

And about the Ciri&Yenn stuff... TeamTriss, we are ploughed :( #theenemyinside

Good article about the Witcher on Polygon after the last few days of PC shitstorm? Surprising. Their concern about the mounted combat and general polish of things is levelheaded.

Well even if it is just sword combat just like we saw in the new trailer that is great. if they cant pull it off perfect with signs while on horse well maybe they will just have to drop it.:(

But that one dev already said Geralt could use his sgins and toss bandits into the air and than hit them with his sword before they even hit the ground.

With last gen I mean both graphically and gameplay wise. I don't know, all those first person shooters look the same to me.

I don't like FPS that much myself but that doesn't make them especially "last-gen". You could honestly say the same about third person action RPGs. ;)

So what are the overall impressions coming out of E3 from the journalists? Positive or negative?

I have a few gripes with what they say, especially that CDPR have released broken products before, which I don't agree with. Every game has bugs, but they were never broken.
I also wasn't aware that the most anticipated feature was mounted combat. I guess different people, different priorities. :)

In general it is a really positive article, and they also share some tidbits about the women in life of Geralt. ;)
