I'm all for constructive and honest criticism. It just feels out of place right now, somehow. Like, we're the cheering crowd - the fanbros who cheer and support their favorite developer even if the demo was underwhelming. The nitpicking could come a bit later.
It's as if we were the live audience, and instead of cheering and making noise - we'd be completely dry because we were underwhelmed. Not cool, guys.
As many times already stated,it was really rushed for the sake of time. Those MS bastards...
Nothing against the witcher, but it's not like it had a lot of competition.
But I'm saying that it's alright for people to say that perhaps the gameplay could've been smoother or X or Y could be done differently. Why shouldn't we have high expectations?
All I can say is I respectfully disagree.And NO,stating your opinions based on footage is not whining.Also whining about 'whining' is kinda ironic.
Anyway I wait for more footage before I make up my mind but fighting looked undercooked.Models,enviroments,animation - awesome.
Also UI is kinda...well I just have to see more of it.It had parts I liked and it had inventory from Titan Quest.So....more footage before I can say anything else.
Indeed, it is pefectly possible to cut a man from head to groin in half, even when he's wearing a helmet and chainmail. There exist several medieval depcitions illustration just this.
Regarding the gameplay, as others already remarked, it looked rushed and incomplete. I have to wait for an uncompressed version of the footage, to really be able to judge it. It looked promising, though

and as someone already said it reminded me of Diablo 3 inventory, which isnt a bad thing...
This looked far better than W2 combat.It actually had weight and they used a variety of abilities.
Landscape and conversation animations looked insane.
I have no complaints.Release version will be more polished obviously.

I really like the UI. Kinda reminds me of W1 UI.
