He never speaks about himself. It's always "we" or "hardcore gamers" or "the RPG community". That is about to get annoying and reminds me of trolling tbh.... :-|Is this a shared account? You sure like throwing the word "we" around quite a bit.

We (my cult and I) do not care about beating the game, or having more options, so that we have a harder time beating the game. We want to experience the game. Now if a certain option exists in the game, that could possibly downgrade that experience, my cult and I will at least offer our opinions on the matter.Casuals don't like options. They want few options as possible so they can just beat game.
I think loot and descriptions of NPCs and stuff should either be always visible or just while pressing down a button (which is the industry standard for games like Diablo). The player should be able to chose his preference in the options. I don't think that's a question of different difficulty modes.I`m seeing quite a few remarks regarding the white "loot" arrows . For this I think that it will be like the other 2 games . When you`re in "range" they will appear but otherwise they won`t .
difficulty - I`m confident that CDPR will have several difficulties to choose from . Anything from easy to insane . I just hope that the difficulty curve remains throughout the game . I wouldn`t want the game to get progressively easier the further you get in the game . Just my opinion of course and i`m sure others will have different views .
I welcome underwater combat. So by you not wanting it everyone should not have it? That is not flawed logic? I'm not sure if Witcher's lore stated that they are not allow to be on waters or they are not allow underwater combat. If so then i understand why is it an immersion breaker. So everyone who is against underwater combat is a casual? Great (but flawed) logic...
Why not adding shooting with modern guns? That would add another option to the gameplay as well? Or flying around? If you're not for that you're a filthy casual player....![]()
Well if the white arrow appears only when you can interact with something, then it's fine I guess. I just don't want things to be highlighted from far away.I`m seeing quite a few remarks regarding the white "loot" arrows . For this I think that it will be like the other 2 games . - Blood of Elves, just quoted that myself from the official English release. Page 188 if you want to confirm. The Witcher leaped over the railing. Before the water - thick with algae - closed in over his head, he heard Linus Pitt, the Lecturer of Natural History at the Academy of Oxenfurt, shout, 'What is that? What Species? No such animal exists!'
He emerged just by the Temerian lighter, miraculously avoiding the fishing spear which one of baldy's men was jabbing at him. The Guard didn't have time to strike him again before he splashed the water with an arrow in his throat. Geralt, catching hold of the spear, rebounded with his legs against the side of the boat, dived into the seething whirlpool and forcefully jabbed at something.
Now that I can get behind. Nobody wants the game to be something that does not suit you but they may (like me) want a challenge that is pretty darn unforgiving.Wrong I'm Casual I play on easy to enjoy a well paced game and story like a movie. I have been playing console games from age 5 to 34 and I love options to turn shit OFF/ON in the in-game pause menu console games don't ever seem to give us enough of these options.i.e HUD ON/OFF VIBRATIONS ON/OFF CLUES OUTSIDE OF WITCHER SENSE MODE OFF.etc.. Also open world games are about FREEDOM AND THE LAW IS LAND/WATER/SKY.
MOST NEW OPEN WORLD GAMES ARE ABOUT HAVING FREEDOM UNDER THE GAME WORLD LAWS OF THE LAND THE SEA AND SOME-TIMES THE SKY. lol... What don't you get? What?

Witcher 1 had the option to toggle NPC names and names of various elements . I think the E3 demo had that strictly for show purposes....nothing more .I think loot and descriptions of NPCs and stuff should either be always visible or just while pressing down a button (which is the industry standard for games like Diablo). The player should be able to chose his preference in the options. I don't think that's a question of different difficulty modes.
I find the names or text of herbs flying all around in TW1 is really bad. In TW2 they are all well done! I dont need text. It was really presented in the visuals that immediately you saw a colorful stuff in the bush you know it's a collectible herb. It was really well done in TW2. I hope it remain the same in TW3.Witcher 1 had the option to toggle NPC names and names of various elements . I think the E3 demo had that strictly for show purposes....nothing more .
I was only saying that for the people that had worries about them appearing at all times .
The difficulty was a separate thought process .
You can disable that.I find the names or text of herbs flying all around in TW1 is really bad.
